Might be ok to pay the higher price if travelling and you get the TRS rebabte. I believe the retailer gets the full amount for the sale so the invoice should be the full price, so a little more back for TRS.
True, but it's also over $1000, so you have to be travelling with a family member and pooling the money with them (can't be travelling by yourself). Also you would still get more anyway if it was priced normally + TRS instead of Ted's pricing + TRS ($240 vs $140).

If only the a7 was listed reasonably at $1250 like other competitors, instead of the crazy $1400. It's still $120 cheaper, but the extra 20% off seems like it's gone to waste.
