They still haven't shipped my order that was placed on Wednesday morning.

    • +2

That's legitimate, I could buy something from overseas and have it by now.

If local businesses want customers they need to be competitive in price and speed of delivery.

White shirts look great but dont know about fitting. can i brick and morter the fitting and order online ya think?

    • +4

Myer carries the VH Euro fit

      • Great thank you!

        • -5

Please don't treat "bricks and mortar" stores and the jobs of the people that work there as some giant fitting room set up for your personal convenience!

If you think it's worth the saving of shopping online, man up, take the risk and don't be so selfish!

          @miztadave:

I found Gerry Harvey's ozbargain account.

        • @Gecko:

It's a shame that a site such as this seems to bring out the absolute selfish worst in some people, as reflected by the post to which I responded and the subsequent negative votes.

        • +4

@miztadave: If Myer had decent prices, people wouldn't be going there just to check sizing against the official Van Heusen store. If it's a case of Myer not being able to afford to do that, then maybe they should ask Van Heusen why they're selling below their wholesale price.

If it was an international online store that the deal was posted on, I'd probably be agreeing with you.

Have you been into a Myer lately? Seen the prices? They're easily double what other retailers sell clothing for. I've got no shame in going in person to test fit it on if it saves me half the purchase cost, if it was an extra 10-20% that's where I'd just buy it from Myer to have that peace of mind.

          @Gecko:

And there in lies the rub: another mark of a selfish person. One who says rules and standards of behavior are generally fine, except when they don't suit me personally.

        • -1

@miztadave: I was actually after a VH store to try them on at. I don't buy clothes online unless i know they fit.

        • @miztadave: My heart bleeds for the little mom and pop store that is called Myer

        • @clarky:

And for the shop assistants that would be out of a job if they were to be driven out of business?

        • @clarky:

And somehow you think that's a justification?

        • -1

@miztadave: It is because its the same brand. Its no different then going into apple and looking at iPads then buying one online, Apple still make the money, same with VH store.

        • -1

@miztadave: How is that different from the warehouse workers who ship out the products? its an Australian store. Bit different if it was OS.

        • +1

@miztadave: I imagine Myer would have no issue with the increased foot traffic to their store even if the people have no intention of purchasing anything. Once they are in store Myer at least gets the chance to dazzle with their specials, and if they have the VH shirts for only 10-15% extra than this deal I'm sure there will be some that will buy for the convenience… and of course the ethical reasons you have pointed out :S.

        • @miztadave:

Myer have always had the same deals on in Brisbane so evem with these discount prices, it is easier just to buy from myer.

        • +1

At the very least, give Myer a chance to match on the deal, or be wiling to pay a slight premium for the value-add they are offering. I don't understand why @miztadave is being censored. Cut-throat Internet based marketing campaigns are all well and good (hey, this site thrives on them), but IMHO it is selfish to treat brick and mortar clothing stores like a giant change room for any Internet store (even if the store is the parent company).

Internet based companies can differentiate themselves by offering no questions refund policies with free return shipping, which some do (my experience is in electronics where Apple & Lenovo both offer such a promise).

  • You can also use code VH15 for $20 off $60 spend on anything ;)

  • Can you use both codes (VH15 and 4for100) on the same order?

    • +1

Single code only. I tried the same thing

  • +1

I noticed that if you add 5 or more shirts it only goes up in increments of $25. I needed 5 for work anyway.

  • Any suits deal?

  • +1

Works on their Slim range too

    • +4

    • +1

I just tried it and got the following:

"Sorry, you need to purchase more products to use this coupon."

Am I doing something wrong? 4 slim business shirts in the cart.

      • I got the same, is it for euro shirts only or any shirt that comes up in the provided link?

  • +1

totally read the title as €4 shirts for $100 with free shipping…

  • What size would i need to get in the slim if I'm a 39?

Also, why does the image of the white slim shirt also have print on it (when the other listed white slim shirt actually say it has prints)?

  • +1

    Paypal at it again?!

    4 Euro shirt = $6.27

    • +1

  • Thanks OP it is a great deal and I have ordered 4 shirts. Being careful to stay away from the slim range

    • Wait, why do you say that?

      • Ha ha…. not slim

        • I see. Sorry I just realized u said being careful, not be careful. My mistake

  • Can someone explain the difference between euro fit and slim fit?

  • +1

are these shirt wrinkle free? or at least less wrinkle prone?

    • Not really, mate. Wrinklier than Grandma in the Jacuzzi.

      • LMAO..eww you actually spent jacuzzi time with your grandma. I remembered seeing VH having wrinkle free range in target though, which is it?

  • Edit: Duplicate

  • Has anyone's order been shipped yet?

    • I've ordered a few times from them. Not fussed they'll arrive when they arrive.

    • Arrived today

  • Is this deal still on ? I tried it and got the following:

    • You may need to be logged in to use it (please register or log in at the top right of your screen); or
    • This coupon was typed incorrectly (please check your coupon); or
    • This coupon may have expired; or
    • This coupon may not yet be valid.

I added to the cart before logging in, but logged in, and tried and I couldn't get it.

    • It was due to finish midnight on Tuesday 25/8 so I assume it has finished. The advertising banner on their website homepage has gone as well.

      • +1

        :( thanks Woody

  • My order was despatched last Thursday, and there's been no movement via Toll tracking! I think I liked them better when they were the men's shop. Super quick deliveries and a better range.

  • Well my shirts showed up, but they can't count. Only sent 4 from 5. Still waiting for the fifth one to show up. They don't respond to emails via their webform so had to phone them. The person on the other end of the call seemed very disinterested, but promised they would despatch straight away. Oh, and one of the shirts was cuff link only, so I'll be returning that as it wasnt visible in the photos, but marked as "French" in the body of the description (I looked after the fact). I've got to say they've gone downhill since they were the Men's Shop. Their service and packaging was fantastic.
