If one could treasure a bargain for ream of A4 paper every now and then, then the same person should see this as a rare find.
Walking in the OW Box Hill South store and saw a tall pile of boxes with a special yellow clearance poster for $1 at one of the back aisle. Thought it could be some sort of junk again, but the curiosity took the better of me and decided to take a look - some boxes of envelopes there. Then I got carried away when I had a look of what's inside, 500 of them in a box. My quick OzB unit price checker at the back of my head promptly reported that it works out to be 0.2 cents per envelope hence this is a no brainer.
Grab 2 of the big boxes quickly to the front counter to pay and verify the price. Correct, 500 envelops going for $1. The checkout chick was rightfully surprised for that price. The guy at the next counter, who actually moved the envelopes down to the aisle, said it was going at the same price for a little while, but since this clearance line was not moving while sitting on the shelf (Yep, OzB bargain detection unit failure on my part in the previous visits), he's moving the stock to somewhere more visible and hopefully can clear them quicker - and I'm more than happy to help out, hence this post.
There were about 20 boxes left when I got mine. Grab yours if you can work out what you can do with 500 envelopes.
Is it windows one?
