I received this in an email from Harvest Box. $30 off an Uber ride for new users. It looks like it's nationwide.

the harvest box code isn't referral spam. But why include your own referral at the end when you can only input one code? It's not part of the deal because by using your referral code, it'll exclude the harvest box code.
You're so right tikei. I didn't realise that they didn't stack, I'll delete the referral code.
Note this is a coupon code.
Simple way to tell is append code to https://get.uber.com/invite/xxx, e.g. https://get.uber.com/invite/HARVESTUBER
- If it doesn't show a name, it's generally a coupon code.
- If it does show a name, e.g. Claim your free ride from Neil, worth up to $25!, then it's a referral code.
There are some exceptions on codes given out to Uber employees/comm managers.
Also, you can't stack referral codes and coupon codes, so putting a referral code in there is a disservice to users in this case.
Does this have an expiry date? Under promo in my account, it lists this code as applied and active but no expiry date next to it.
No expiry date that I can see sorry.
tried a past code - "Dostine50" on sign up for $50 credit for new users
On web login.. Under promotions its displayed active and "Cheers Eddie!"
Doesn't display how many dollars off ?
$50 off first ride - thanks :)
Can someone confirm it works?
HARVESTUBER or Dostine50 ?
harvest code works. Not sure about Dostine50
Tried the latter and it says "Promotion has a redemption limit and too many users have entered the code"
So i have never used Uber, but if i make an account with this code, I get $30, but only on the first ride. So if it costs $15 i lose the rest of the credit?
And if i use a referral code, we both get $25 off (the next ride only). So if my ride is going to be less anyway, and i don't get to keep extra credit, I should use the referral?
Only for the first ride. So if your ride is $5 (you won't know the cost if it's less than the credit) then it just says that the ride was free.
you won't know the cost if it's less than the credit
Get a fare estimate beforehand. You should always do this anyways - Uber are pretty good at refunding if your fare goes above their estimate.
So if my ride is going to be less anyway, and i don't get to keep extra credit, I should use the referral?
yes - it's a ride voucher not credit :)
where can i see this credit on my account?
login via web (not app) > payment > promotions
btw it's actually not credit but a ride voucher :)
thanks man !!
Can we use uber in Sydney?
I was going to use a taxi on the weekend fare was looking around $80-$90 now I will use Uber and this promo thanks!
I noticed this was set at 20% - Gratuity for TAXI
Your preferred gratuity will be applied to any future TAXI trips that you request through Uber. This will apply to TAXI fares only (not Black, SUV, or uberX) and be paid to your driver.
Does anyone use this ? or just have it set at 0?
Doesn't matter, only applies to UberTaxi as it says. Thinks its only available in a few cities worldwide, not in australia as far as I am aware.
got black car with it last night in rome.
Ok cool thanks man.
What criteria does Uber look for to determine if someone is a new user?
Is it the phone number? Email address?mobile, email, maybe payment details
used in rome last night. cheers! picked up in a mercedes. nice!
I am not a first time Uber rider, is there any way for me to still be able to use this code?
Used Uber on the weekend $56 fare got it for $26 with the voucher experience was excellent will never use a Taxi again.
Still working, cheers!
