  • $200/month gym membership? That's a deal?

    • Was going to post that, but I think it's just a misleading post/SMS (ie, the 45 free days are independent of saving $300 on membership).

Still, without knowing the actual membership fee/terms this doesn't really mean anything.

    • They may get that $300 'saving' by comparing annual membership fee with paying whatever per visit fee if you went 200 odd times in a year or something similarly obtuse like that!

  • My wife and I are in the 45 days free. Started 1st August. No conditions, just a 10 month membership. I pay $12.50 or so and my wife pays $15.20 or so weekly.

  • OP did you reply SUMMER and if so can you send more details?

    • Hi Blandest, It includes all the Classes, Programs and access to all the Facilities.

      • Thanks. Is there a minimum time you need to sign up for? ie can I use the 45 days and then cancel?

        • That's right, I did called them up with similar kind of question. They said that there are no strings attached, you can cancel your membership anytime.

        • @BigBrother: that is strange. As far as I know, you only get 45 days free when you decide to join them and sign a contract.

        • @Colombian: If I recall word by word, I am really sure that I did confirmed with the person at the Gym to make sure that I need not to sign a contract.

  • The "$300 savings" probably also includes admin fee, card fee, a couple PT sessions, and a couple of "consults" which would normally charge you an arm and a leg for.

  • been with the gym for a long time now, concurrently with other gyms. i pay yearly, 700 + 1-2 months free (sometimes i can get that 2 months instead of 1 month). equals $12.50 weekly

  • How are Goodlife gyms? I suppose each branch will differ but hopefully they aren't as pushy as Fitness First when it comes to contracts. I bought an online groupon recently for a 4 week trial so will be trying them out soon :)
