Lol @ the distinct lack of branding

may as well link this one, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BABY-BOYS-TODDLER-TOYS-CHAINSAW-B…
the one you found looks like it would fall apart halfway through cutting.

      • Well they are all Husky look alikes from China. The orginal post is of the same design. If someone was an expert at chainsaws they wouldn't buy either.

Then again "Black Eagle" is probably a well know brand in Turkmenistan

Would you buy a chainsaw from a buyer that calls themselves xteen-lover ?

      • +1

Well it does cleraly state it is "Professional". Also, in case you were in doubt it is labelled as a "chainsaw".

    • i'm not commenting on the quality of either of these items, but bigger is not necessarily better. it depends on what you want to use it for. have fun trying to swing around a heavy 20" chainsaw up a tree …

  • i am contemplating whether to buy this or not…
    do i really want this?
i dont need it now, but you never know when you might need a chainsaw!
i seem to justify 75% of my purchases by 'you never know when you might need a…"

      do i really want this?

do you own a lumber jacket ?

      • "I wanted to be… a lumberjack!

Leaping from tree to tree, as they float down the mighty rivers of British Columbia. The Giant Redwood. The Larch. The Fir! The mighty Scots Pine! The lofty flowering Cherry! The plucky little Apsen! The limping Roo tree of Nigeria. The towering Wattle of Aldershot! The Maidenhead Weeping Water Plant! The naughty Leicestershire Flashing Oak! The flatulent Elm of West Ruislip! The Quercus Maximus Bamber Gascoigni! The Epigillus! The Barter Hughius Greenus!"

Just remember that chainsaws aren't toys. You really should be wearing kevlar pants / chaps, steel capped boots, hearing, head and eye protection while using them…

Thongs, sunnys', a wife beater shirt and footy shorts are the minimum round here, oh yer don't forget the ubiquitous can of bundy and coke sans neck tattoo

Of course you wouldn't be seen dead throwing a chainsaw that isn't a Stihl or Husqie into the back of your Holden SV6

I don't go out in public with the "Gardenline" chainsaw I bought a few years ago, round here its akin to parading around in buttless chaps at the mardi gras (not there is anything wrong with that)

      • haha true that… gotta admit, I'm in the Stihl camp. I find the layout of the clutch in the Husqies a bit funny. It's all like the Ford vs Holden argument though haha…

…and go on a 1-2 day training course to learn how to use them safely. Chainsaws are one of the most dangerous pieces of kit you can use without requiring a licence.

      • ^ +1000 to that comment…

funny how the specs state "low kickback" when every chainsaw has kickback and it can be quite unpredictable especially if you don't know what you're doing

  • Normal price $108. Was $99 last month by the looks of it.

  • $105.00 RRP $250 Delivered

Sounds like a negative deal - $145 higher price than normal.

Any reason that some OPs seem to have a contest running to make titles as confusing as possible?

    • Any reason why commenters have to pick at anything and everything

      What's confusing you ?

      • a lack of a comma maybe?
