  OMG!!!! I am so tempted to buy one however I promised my partner I wouldn't spend on any big ticket electronics as he will buy me a good one in a few weeks :( I don't think I'll get a deal this good to make my cakes cry…but suppose I have to keep my end of the bargain, jealous of the ozbargainers getting this deal. I really hope catch does the similar deal in a few weeks.

  BTW, please don't neg because of my comment. I really just wanted to ask one question and digressed, but I wanted to know when does catchoftheday or other sites do this sort of deals for bench mixers? I checked google and can't find it elsewhere except for ebay and wanting to ask if anyone has this, if its better that kitchen aid?

    Are you sure that it's a mixer that he's buying you in a few weeks?. It could be any big ticket electronic item. Any way those getting the Kenwood kMix for $295 + $30 voucher is a stunning deal as it's a better deal than the $379 with no bonus which Harvey Norman wants for the kMix. I don't think COTD does these deals on bench mixers very often especially not with a bonus store voucher.

      Yea, he already knows I wanted to get a mixer. I have my eye on the kitchenaid artisan models but I'm thinking this brand is not only a good model and great deal, but I think it may be on par or better.

        Kitchenaid Artisan stand mixers are made in USA with a 5 year Australian warranty but the Kenwood kMix is listed as made in China with a 1 year warranty which is 5 times lesser warranty length compared to the Kitchenaid Artisan. In my opinion the Kitchenaid Artisan would be a lot better quality but then again it also currently costs a lot more.
