Model number is in the ad. after all (HL106V88P) and is this one: http://www.hisense.com.au/products/television/detailed/type/…
Probably won't be many in store so hesitated with post, but I'd like to see what others think of this model before I take a risk on a Chinese TV! Has 3 year in house warranty, and have heard relatively good things about this brand. TGG have had it before for $999 I believe - the ad. shows a $500 discount.

Good guys website not up when I did this post. Ad. was in the Saturday Advertiser.

I just noticed that the on-line website is back up but in the online catalog they have a 37" Hisense advertised for $797. So looks like it may be a misprint in our local Advertiser newspapaper.

    Maybe Greghux you should scan the original ad so that it can be taken to Good guys to see what they say.

    It's not a misprint. Its definately the Hisense 42" full hd LCD. They are going like hot cakes when I was in the GG today. When I picked mine up, 2 other cars were loading the same TV. It's only 50hz, but unbelievable price! Model HL106V88P.
