  • Beat me to it. Probably best to put 'fares from $20.10' in the title.

  • is that all of them or are more coming out on boxing day?
$700 return to japan… im getting there for $300 return via airasia and united…

guess its a bit more decent domestic.

    • united??? how does that work?

      • airasia from gold coast to KL, then KL to Bangkok, then united bangkok to narita and similar on the way back. It is something i did myself, not using just 1 airline/travel agent.

        • 300 return? how much was the united part?

          • @[Deactivated]: united was $200 return BKK to NRT while they had a special earlier in the year… unfortuantly i dont think they will be on special for that cheap anytime soon again…

            • @ptfff: next time, pls share with us.
              i love travelling to japan.

              • +2

@punter1: lol im always on the eye out for cheap flights to Japan but i only read usually and dont think i even had an account back then. I find it too intimidating to post tbh.

I'd also think this wasnt an obvious "sale/bargain item" it was just using a different start point due to the very cheap airasia flights to KL so didnt directly apply to australians its just that we could use them…

Ill post next time i see some sort of special again like that.

            • @ptfff: Where did you get the special deal for United?

        • that is epic so many stop overs…..

id rather fork out some extra cash then spend half my holiday in transit

but i guess a buck is a buck, whatever floats your boat. nice find to get united that cheap

@Trance N Dance: Well im not exactly doing it all in 1 day…

Going to kuala lumpur for 2 days, then bangkok for 3 days, then cambodia and back for a week (cost $60), then after being in bangkok for another 2 weeks off to narita for 4 weeks, then back again.

I dont mind spending that much time in transit because its not all at once.

    • Just be extra careful when ordering from United online. Last time their system screwed up and gave me tickets for a different day (cookie problem!?) and they refuse to refund (have to pay change fee of US$150)

      • thanks for that, ive already printed off the ticket and its confirmed and everything… would love to go back again later in the year though

  • wonder what international ones they will have ..

  • Hopefully they have the fares to Japan :)

Anyone know when the travel dates are?

edit: they updated at 611am… nothing interesting.

  • Are they publishing them or do you have to search through flights to find them?

  • Still sleeping, wake up jetstar

  • tell me about it! i woke up for nothing

also they sly, thought it would be return
Sale fares are one way and are available on selected days and flights only, subject to availability. Limited availability over public holiday weekends.

EDIT: ITS UP but WTF its only for domestic anyway and the other fares are the same price anyway. stupid jetstar!

Front page is updated. But prices are nothing to write home about…. zzz back to sleep.

    • true that back to sleep, thanks jetstar it was a crappy boxing day sale

    • Indeed:
      Brisbane —> Newcastle $20.10
      Melbourne (Avalon) —> Sydney $20.10
      Melbourne (Tullamarine) —> Hobart $20.10

      Possibly between:
      10 May - 14 Jul 2010
      24 Aug - 30 Sep 2010

  • tell me about it - what a waste

  • seriously, these were the only 20.10 flights :

    Brisbane Newcastle $20.10
    Melbourne (Avalon) Sydney $20.10
    Melbourne (Tullamarine) Hobart 20 Jul - 31 Aug 2010 $20.10

    • i know whats the point of saying international and domestic when only 3 routes were only really on sale - stupid jetstar i'm sending them some feedback to tell them they SUCK

      • you think they would care?
from that last smh article, I doubt they would even give a toss. Sad to say, there'll always be others who buy from them.
