  • Damn, WA is $200 :(

    • +9

Seems cheap for a Large Australian State… where do I sign? lol

      • +1

Sign right here: …. but first I need to see that you are good for the $30 billion mortgage that comes with it.
Yeah, I know, we just had the longest-running mining boom ever, so what did we do with all the money? yeah, life's a funny thing.
A couple of billion on a nice new hospital, couple of billion for a stadium, a new freeway, and before you know it adds up to real money.

    • I wonder why different stores have different pricing :(

  • +1

Very good microwave at an amazing price

    • +2

We've had ours for around 8 months. Really good temperature control, has operated without a hitch.

Only neg is that the dial is not as quick when you are setting time as a keypad.

  • One of the best microwave I ever used.
Shame it is always more expensive in WA.
Bit the bullet and bought it when it was $200 last time.
If you can get one for $99, do not hesitate to get one.

    • +2

They are listed as $99 in target cockburn central. Reasonably sized pile near the blenders.

      • +1

Just went down to grab one, only 1 left, white. Bull Creek had none.

      • Called Cockburn and they don't stock this model. I wonder which Cockburn central you are referring to?

  • If you want something different, there's plenty around the same price on OzSale (Panasonic)

Target burwood wouldn't sell me their last display model at $99.5 and said they'll only do $199. Walked over to David Jones and the guy price matched it and was super polite about it. Shout out to Glenn at DJs burwood!

    • How did you get him to price match? I live in Burwood and want to buy the same

      • +1

Literally showed him this picture and zoomed in on the model number. There's one more in black on display. Good luck!

    • -1

      Burwood NSW or Vic?

      • +1

        NSW

        • Damn. I'm in Vic. I might call my local DJs tomorrow anyway and see if they'll price match…

        • Let me know how you go (:

    • +1

You must have got lucky as DJ don't seem to even stock this model http://shop.davidjones.com.au/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Sear…

      • He checked stock levels on the computer, quite a few stores had it. Might be worthwhile calling up your local DJs to see if there's still stock.

        • I thought you might have been lucky and scored the newer model. The Target model has been superseded.

  • +1

Prone to interior rust according to the target linked page (above) http://www.target.com.au/p/breville-bm-634-quick-touch-34l-m…

  • thats a really good price. I have been looking around, and have not seen one that big for under 100$

  • Is this silent, or is this a buzzer?

    • +1

      it's a brazzer

      • Gotta make those microwave dinners more interesting somehow!

  • +1

3.4/5 from 19 reviews at ProductReview.

  • Good price. Target consistently have 50% off microwaves, so if you miss out, it will probably be 150 in a month or two.

  • -6

Don't forget the $10 off $60 spend promotions.

    • +9

Excludes Electrical, you work at Target and dont know ?

  • Is it an inverter?

    • +1

      Nah it's a transformer.

      • Which is better?

  • Sensor makes it very easy and quick to cook vegetables - never need to boil again

  • +3

Just so people know, this is the older BMO634 model. The new BMO735 is the one retailing for ~$300.

  • My local have them at $300+

  • I am from VIC & its kinda sour grapes feeling as I needed this badly. I see everyone praising this item, & I also have same feeling about it. So to just make the Grape taste sweet, does any one knows a best voted microwave in range of $99-$300 (if there is anything like that…Choice, etc). I have to buy one this weekend.

    • Just confirming that Waurn Ponds VIC has two in stock, priced at $199.

  • +3

Went to Target Mt Ommaney QLD and they sell them at 199.00 on special. The staff member rang the Robina store for me and confirmed that it is an in store special only at Robina because they are overstocked. But the manager at Mt. Ommaney price-matched them so I bought one for the same price at $99.50. There were two left on the shelf after I purchased mine so good luck.

  • +1

None available at Target in Tuggeranong.

  • +2

Confirmed price match at Brisbane City Target store.

  • -3

Hi can anyone upload a recent receipt for this please? All target stores must honor it according to target policy.

    • -2

      Why the negative vote?

      • -1

Just goes to show how ignorant some people are. I went to target and the manager said that the photo is not good enough. But if I had proof of purchase. Ie a receipt, she will honor it!

        • Got the same at the target I went too

  • No price match offered at target Carindale :-(

  • Couldn't get a price match without the receipt

Anyone who has one please post!

  • +4

    Here is the receipt: http://we.tl/F4jyAVK5bw

    • receipt not working

    • Can you please re-upload your receipt?

      Thank you

  • Spotted at least 3 unit's at Forest Lake Target, however scanned at $199.00 but no doubt with the above receipt anyone could grab em for the $99 price point

  • Target Melbourne CBD won't price match even with shown receipt! >:(

  • +1

Picked up one at Broadbeach, very happy

  • +1

Thanks to whoever did the leg work at Chermside; didn't have to say anything past 'microwave'. Looked like 4 left as of 15 minutes ago.

  • Tried my luck at the Glen Waverley Target, got a sales member to call the manager and ask but was told no.
Shame because I'm moving and need a good microwave but oh well.

  • +1

Target at Leichhardt Sydney would not accept the above receipt - there's a code (?5) on it that means mis-priced or somehting and they would not honour it.
Anyone care to share a different receipt please?

    • might have meant price matched or something.. and they can't price match a price match? if that makes sense. you might need to see if anyone has an original receipt from the Robina store

  • +1

Just had the photo honoured at Target Rockdale. I think all they stock is the white colour I couldn't see any indication on the box about colours either so I guess based on photo on box they only have white.

    • Just saw your post. Did you show the receipt as well?
Can you please send me pic of your receipt

  • If anyone has some luck in finding these in Sydney let me know. Desperately after one after our microwave just died

  • +1

I had luck getting the photo honoured in the middle of the day, yesterday at Rockdale. They didn't care. No receipt.
There was about 8 left at that point.
It looks really good in my kitchen. Cooking so far very good.

  • Plenty of stock at stmarys, near Penrith.
I had them price match with another target store and picked up yesterday.

  • Can someone from Sydney who bought one please post a receipt. I don't want to travel a fair distance to find out they won't price match. Thanks

  • I just rang target rockdale and they said they won't price match from another target store

    • (profanity).

  • Can someone please upload the receipt again? Thank you in advance :)

  • Update: I decided to do some shopping around the North/North East of Melbourne trying to find this deal!

David Jones in Doncaster Westfield - Wouldn't price match on their last stock (Cherry Red) due to no stock at the local Target - they called them and they had no stock.
Myer in Eastland - Wouldn't price match as theirs are already on sale for $199 (as per their website)
Target in Ringwood - Wouldn't price match as "this offer would've only been for the Robinvale store"

    :(

  • I reckon HN, JB, Good Guys won't honour this price match, Am I right?

    • doubt it… looks like most Target stores aren't even price matching!

  • While it looks smart its certainly not the quietest of machines and the labels on the buttons rub off with light usage.

Taking mine back to DJ's and I've only had it a few months.
