reviews? anyone?
I got this for $330 in November. I got it because of the decent resolution and price. I wouldn't get one now since new devices will spring up soon.
The only problem I have is since upgrading to windows 10 the sound is awful over Bluetooth.
reviews? anyone?
Fantastic tablet, it's fast, runs all the apps I need and it's very portable. I purchased one to take to Europe last year for five weeks and it did everything I needed with an external keyboard and USB 3 hub (uploading photos, video etc) and checking mail along with remote work.
I purchased it just before the 3G version came out for around $550 (128GB model) and I paid for the 3 year extended warranty and smart cover. The screen is fantastic and easily the best screen I've seen on a tablet, everything is crisp. The build quality is excellent as well. Windows 10 runs fine as well.
However for some of the work I was doing it took me a bit longer, they didn't have the cable to charge and let you use the USB port at the same time until after I arrived back so I lost time in keeping it fully charged as transferring hundreds of gbs of data some days took time and drained the battery quickly.
This year I'm taking the X1 Carbon Gen 3 and the Thinkpad 8 for six weeks away as the extra cpu power will save me time when encrypting data before uploading and having the bigger screen is nice.
This is the 64gb model if anyone is wondering.
Ohhh… that changes things a little.
Was trying to compare this with the recent Acer W4 and the extra storage makes this a little more appealing, especially with the SIM capabilities.
Decent comparison here:
http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/Lenovo-ThinkPad-8,A…Over 3x the price of the (reduced to clear) Acer though and it's not 3 times as good.
I'll forever be comparing things to that Acer now! :(Your comparison page isn't accurate . This one doesn't have 3G, right?
Yea looks like you're right.

3G: No"Handy for the other specs.
Looks a lot less appealing now.
This Thinkpad has no 3G. It has a full HD screen when the Acer only had a 800 pixel one and has 64GB
Coming to roughly $289 with 28 Degrees Card
