Pre-owned 12GB PS3 console + 1 controller + 8 pre-owned games:

Batman: Arkham City
Gran Turismo 5
God of War III
Killzone 2
Uncharted 2

Console comes with with a 3 month warranty (refund or replacement). Pretty sure games have a 12 month warranty (correct me if I'm wrong). Shipping varies but I'm getting $7.50 to 4870 which is NE QLD. You may actually be able to buy this and resell it on Ebay for profit.

12GB is quite small, so a spare HDD might make your life easier

      It's correct. For GTA V for example, you would not be able to play GTA Online anymore without upgrading the HDD (not difficult, but still extra cost) because the patches got so large it exceeded the 12GB limitation.

      yeah, but you might have to play one game at the time and deleting game saves ect.

      gta5 is 8.5gb from memory and thats the highest out of the lot

      Not for GTA 5. It requires 8GB to install the base game, and does not include all the new content.

      Other games, I have no idea.

      yea ops deal sounds like a hassle. Install rogero or habib cfw with the external hard drives on offer these days. Less hassle and less kapish

    So it's severely restricted as a device (1 game installed at a time from what people say? … ugh). Then you add a HDD for another say $70 so now it's $268.

    This is a terrible deal IMO. Would be better off spending a little more and getting a second hand PS4.

      No… they stated GTA 5 is 8gb. The rest are older games that don't take up much space at all.

      Yes, a PS4 on which you can play God of War 3. Of course, you'll be paying $80 for this 6 year old PS3 game on that console. Oh, when you get your PS4, be sure to pick up the good PS4 'exclusive games' such as The Last of Us, the Uncharted Collection, Little Big Planet 3, GTA5,and the Borderlands Handsome Collection BECAUSE EVERYTHING GOOD ON PS4 IS A REMAKE.

    Would there really be anyone is the world with an interest in these games that hasn't already played them? MW2, Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 are 6 years old, GoW3 and GT5 are 5 years old, Arkham City is 4 years old, FIFA is the same game that comes out every year, and every man and his dog has played GTA V.

    You could pick a similar package for ~$100 on gumtree. Save your money and put it towards a current gen console.

        I'm clearly not advocating putting a Gumtree post on Ozbargain, I'm just saying that there are better deals to be had if you're after a second hand console with a bunch of games.

          I didn't say you were. I was explaining why your negative vote was invalid. Gumtree would have to had the same deal/package for a cheaper price with at least 10 quantity in order for your reason to neg to be valid.

      This is pretty competitive with Ebay / Gumtree and comes with a warranty (and less dealing with dirtbags)

      I'm still keen to play GTA V. I haven't because I got a next gen console at launch and assumed it'd come to those consoles, which it did. Just waiting for the price to drop since I have other games to play in the meantime.

      In any event, people grabbing this deal likely don't own a PS3, so yeah, there's a good chance they haven't played those games.

      Well, if you look closely, the 12GB PS3 is going for $120+ on Ebay. All 8 games are worth about $20 each brand new, a tiny bit more for GTA 5. So that's $160. The package is worth $280 retail and you're getting it for $200ish.

      they operate for mums and dads who have kids, and the annoy them to buy games or pre owned games!
