Sennheiser G4ME ONE $189 Delivered (Save $70), Sennheiser G4ME Zero $219 Delivered @ Mwave

Had these on my Wishlist for nearly 2 years now!

Now before anyone suggests cheaper alternatives let me remind you that these headphones are desired for their combination of sound, comfort, reliability & great inbuilt microphone!

The G4ME series are are set of gaming headphones produced from Sennheiser. They're basically tweaked PC360s.
Please note that these are stereo headsets that CAN also be used with your PS4, XBOX1 & MAC when combined with a headphone splitter cable.

The main difference between the G4ME ONE & G4ME ZERO is the ear cup material. The ONE's have velvet and the ZERO's have leather.

G4ME ONE
+Better airflow (cooler head)
+More natural audio quality (sound can leave the earcups easily)
-Sound leakage
-Hear ambient noise
-Velvet cups are more difficult to clean

G4ME ZERO
+Less leakage
+Less ambient noise
+Easy to wash earcups
-Less natural sound quality (depth, sound stage etc.)
-Sweaty ears

Another notable pair of headphones is the: Kingston HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset Red
It's quality and abundance of features is respectable at that price point (includes 7.1 virtual surround sound & 2 types of earcups). $165 delivered.

Note: PC Case Gear offer the same price, but they have a dearer shipping cost ($16 vs $9.95). Although nicer website imo.

This is a pretty good bargain and you can take advantage of the $50 ebay voucher if you're eligible.

As for the headphones, I would rather spend a little bit more and get the Audio-Technica ATH-AG1. It has a far superior microphone, more sensitive and the speaker draws less power during playback. The G4ME has such a high headphone impedance and would probably have inferior audio quality without a good (+$100) amp.

Audio technica! That's my professional opinion!
Please don't down vote me. :(

    • That eBay link is a really good find! Its interesting that PC Case gGear sell the headphone for $179 on their website but $205 on eBay. I wonder If i can ask them to price match their website & also snag that $50 voucher!

Impedance is a great point which I managed to forget putting in my main post!

The ONE's have an impedance of only 50 ohms, so they can be powered easily, however the ZERO's do have a 150 ohm impedance, so you might have you use an amp e.g Fiio's or audioengines to get the most of its volume/sound quality :)

      Cheers for that observation!

I have to say it's great for CS:GO! Lots of positive reviews on reddit and steam forums.

I have the PC363D, and the G4ME ones (ONE and ZERO) are very similar as far as I know, and the sound quality is amazing.
