  • is this a left handed mouse?

    • We have the left handed version in stock as well if you are interested ;)

      • Picture shows a left handed version; where's the right handed version?

        • There is something wrong with our website, but we have both.

  • $72 @ MSY

Exactly how far 'below cost' have you gone?

Title says $69, page says $65…

    • If you pick it up in store, it will be $69.
If you order it online, it will be $65.

See if you want it to be delivered ;)

      • So there's an in store pickup surcharge built into the price.

        • No, it is another way around.
We are trying to compensate a bit on the delivery.

          No worries.

    Pretty normal price.

If you want this specific mouse and live/work close by to this store then it's fine. Not a bargain but not a bad price either.

    • Maybe you are right mate, just I cannot see anywhere cheaper in Sydney..

      • +2

From what he posted, you're world cheapest other than second hand ones on Ebay. Good deal, rep!

I wont be buying because of the reason below.

      • Sure, but it's not like anyone's going to see it's $3 cheaper than MSY and rush down to snap one up before they're all gone.

Like I said - if you're hunting for this specific mouse and in the area then it's totally fine.

        • Anywhere is better to buy from than MSY.

        • @Mic Cullen: or ARC or Greenbox or Gocomp or CPL or EYO or IJK.

I'm always surprised how much people dislike MSY in the east. In WA my opinion is they're second best in terms of computer retailers customer service, wait time/queues, reasonable stock levels etc. Netplus is first (although weak in the stock levels department). Then MSY. Then PLE. Then Austin.

          @tantryl:

I don't comment other shops but people have reference anyway. I have never been to WA and I wish to be there and see how the computer shops doing their businesses over there.

        • +1

@tantryl: I pretty much always used Netplus when I lived in Perth, yeah. But MSY here won't even answer the phone. They've had a keyboard and mouse of mine in for "warranty repair" for months, and the only way to find out about them is to actually go in and ask.

        • @Mic Cullen: I've returned four or five things to MSY in the 8 (?) years they've been operating in WA. Every time I got a replacement within 4 weeks. shrug. I'm about to go in with a faulty 2TB Seagate 3.5"er actually. I don't expect it to take longer than the usual 2-4 weeks.

  • This is a great mouse. I had the 2012 version which became faulty after 2 years use. 'Upgraded' to the 2014 green limited edition.

2 Years is quite poor for peripheral life.

My Naga died after 8 months. Got it replaced under warranty. New one died after about 4 months.

I've got logitech gaming mice and keyboards that are still going strong after 5+ years of use.

      • That's unfortunate for your old Naga.
I wonder which logitech mice and keyboards you are using since 5 years ago.

        • well im still using my Logitech MX Revolution mouse + k/b , Logitech cordless wave , ,performance mx and anywhere mx.(im not gonna mention my latest mice n kb list be too long) They all still working combined with Logitech fantastic customer service and long warranty. Was lucky to get the performance mx replaced with a whole new one. Not putting any blame on you by saying this as this is a separate incident regarding msy and razor , I recently brought a Razer Orochi from msy. There were problems with the bluetooth connection straight out of the box and it wouldnt connect anymore.Furthermore the mouse feet were peeling off and made alot of friction on my mouse pad.I returned it back to msy for warranty. And they ended up giving me an old refurbished razer orochi. So I just left it sitting on my shelf and didnt use it , One day I took it out and realised the rubber for the scroll wheel came off.Thats without using it.So i returned it back once again.Msy said theyll give me a new one but i wanted a refund vowing never to buy another orochi. They asked if i wanted a refund for $5 less than what i paid for.But i had another person serve me who gave me back the full refund.
Why the hell razer become so tight that they have to give used "refurbished" mouse for customers who do warranty for their failed products ?
          But anyways enough ranting.

Op was wondering if you could do me a deal on this mouse pad here ?

        • @AzNDuDe:

Well gotta talk to Razer About this and if you come to us for that orouchi, you might get a brand new one;)
and about the mouse pad, come to our store in Capitol Square and tell us you are from OZBargin, I will give you a deal.

        • +1

          @eminemkh:
Cool ,although im not ever gonna buy another orochi again though. Razer is good at innovating products n spends alot on marketing as well as on the packaging. To me it seems planned obsolescence is part of their business strategy. Thats something that i dont like , i want my products to be durable n last, so i avoid.
That'll be great for a deal on the mouse pad thx for that. Ill drop by ur store @ capitol when i have free time. Prob sometime later towards the end of this week or next week latest.

This is a pretty crap deal for a pretty crap product.

The Logitech G600 can be picked up for around $50 and is a far superior product.

    • +1

But still not the same product. Pepsi and Coke.

    • -1

Depends on how you see it. Razer and Logitech.
I wonder how you could find a $5x G600 anyway.

    • +2

Then add $15 postage and 2% surcharge. Save $22.90! WOW!

      • Thanks Dagmar, you made this clear
