This thing is really cool. It automatically spins and gently buffs away rough, hard skin. It's battery operated as well which is cool. Basically just really good for anyone trying to get rid of hard or dead skin.

The grit on these things is around 120 to 80, I reckon. Murder on fingernails but really good on dead skin, callouses, etc. It's an excellent product. She Who Must Be Obeyed sits in the corner grinding away at her feet for hours, she loves it!
Eww, does she leave a little mound of dead skin in her wake :)
parmesan substitute…..
@andy19363: only someone who has done it could know that
@Jackson: Times were hard……
No, actually. It's ground finely enough that it floats away into the air, and eventually your sinuses and lungs filter it out! :-D
And where does it go after that?
Hopefully in someone's belly. All that wasted protein dust.
Well, if it's filtered by sinuses, it ends up as as snot… and while kids won't eat broccoli, they will eat snot! So yeah, not wasted at all! :-D
Agree, this thing is really cool, but it's available from a whole bunch of sellers on aliexpress.com for around US$10 shipped. Usual price in Australia is $50-$60, so this is still a local bargain, but Australian sellers are overcharging, even at $35.00.
Some aliexpress sellers even offer a range of variants, including the pink one.
Most of them include the machine + two extra rollers for the price.
See this search result for example. Also, holy crap, there's a USB version!!! :-)
I bought from this seller and found the product that I received to be indistinguishable from the local product.
Only bad thing is one seller, first I clicked on, has a 39-60 day travel time.
That's the length of time they want you to wait before bugging them! Stuff from China takes about a month to arrive, that's normal.
orbital sander + 80 grit paper …
for a while i had really severe fissures in the pad near my big toe. i tried all sorts of stuff (sandpaper, balm, etc) but it never helped.
the one day it just went away on its own, either because i lost weight or i started eating a lot more fat and cholesterol. go figure …
Got this during a 50% promo but I think my Ped Egg works better! Or maybe I need the 3M 320 grit paper!
Or from FleaBay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Scholl-Velvet-Electronic-Foot-Fil… for $2.37 + $2.99 postage. Just ordered so will report back when/if it arrives. At that price it's a steal!
That's just for the roller replacements though, the foot file itself is $9.02 + $2.99 postage. Still a bargain compared to Chemist Warehouse though!
jellyqueen123 is of course correct. Sorry for any confusion!
Anyone tried these on dogs nails?
or
Anyone has a good nail file suitable for dogs?It would be an interesting challenge to get a dog to sit still for long enough to file their nails, though these would probably work pretty well if you, and your dog, have the patience! Use a nail clipper designed for claws - two curved & sharpened blades facing each other. Something like this. Don't attempt to use a clipper designed for flat human nails, it will crush the claw, cause splitting, yelping, blood everywhere (seriously, everywhere!), no end of fuss!
Foot File
Probably wise they didn't name it the Pedo-File.
Or you can buy a 1000 grit sandpaper from bunnings? ! Much cheaper :D
