Vaguely worth it if you can get in on the early deals but not a huge price drop really. This is a pretty old model camera now, released in 2006 or 2007.
Has no Image Stabilisation which is a must-have in my opinion.
it is canon's basic entry level model and was released in January 2009.
my mistake, I was thinking A460. The feature set is VERY similar to the A460..
I can't believe even an entry level camera doesn't have basic IS in 2009!
another dodgy ad from topbuy like last offer of flash drive.
better off getting an ixus for ~$200
not a great deal. probably, can get this camera from retailers with this price or may be $10 more.
also, wouldn't buy from topbuy ever again.
This is going to get nasty…
Despite the lack of IS this is still a great first camera for kids or a good second/backup camera.
$106 at Officeworks though (was $99 there last week) so this is not really a bargain:

IS is even more important for kids than for adults.. unless you're just buying a toy!
Much better value to be had in the 1000IS for $27 more delivered, just listed on Ozbargain..
horrayyy another one from bottombuy.com.au
The 100IS at dailygizmo is a better buy.
This is still a good buy though.
from topbuy's website:
"We know you want more,
1) For First 100 customers ONLY
Receive FREE 2GB SD Card valued at $15 Retail
2) For First 50 customers ONLY
Receive a Movie Voucher (either Greater Union or Village Roadshow) valued at $15 Retail"
plus get a bag from canon via redemption.
