    • any experience with there phones?. do they like provide constant software updates and optimization? its not lolipop to. looks like a great deal tho.

    • Only 2100 mah battery.

      • Someone asked about the battery in the comments on the XDA review and the reviewer replied, "More than 1 day with my normal use,… I mean a lot of wifi: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Opera, weather and Youtube for the baby."

        • Cool. Me personally would not touch a phone with less than 3000 mah battery.

        • The battery is removeable also, so maybe a bigger one could be bought on ebay.

      • its a pretty efficient SOC. i think its fine for most people. gets you through the day. unless ur power hungry like me. i use like 2 spare batteries a day on my note 4. crazy i know hahah. NOTE IM REFERING TO THE SISWOO. INCASE ANYONE MISREADS

  • What about delivery times?

  • Would this phone be okay to use just as a permanent GPS device in my car with a mount?
My TomTom died on me recently and I've been using Sygic App for now on my regular phone and the App looks and works great.

One thing I didn't like about my TomTom was that screen image wasn't that sharp and it got washed out in bright conditions.
I'm guessing this phone will overcome those problems?

AUD $170.56 for a permanent GPS?!?!?

      • A 6" TomTom with only 800x480 resolution and Bluetooth is $270+ and you can't even replace the battery without breaking it open and fiddling with some 1mm wires.

        • why not get a 5" GPS off aliexpress for <US$35 delivered?

        • I need something with backup and regular updates because it's for work.

  • Are there better alternatives within the $150-$250 price range?

This phone has perked my interest, especially when it's at sub $200 price range.

Build quality looks great, not sure about processor and limitation of 2GB ram and camera quality.

    • This looks to be a strong contender UMI EMAX

      • i loved the emaax to. but the one issue with that phone is theres not a single software update in site. good specs 64bit cpu but stuck on kitkat. they promised lolipop but still no news whats so ever since. pretty common with alot of other chinese phone makers. they just move on to the next phone.

    • yeah theres alot good phones for 150-250. personally when i look for a phone, dont always rely on specs. because alot of chinese smartphone makers make good hardware but with little or no software optimization so it still runs crap 3gb is optional but 2gb of ram is the sweetspot you dont need to worry interms of ram dw unless you like keeping a ton of apps opened which a 2gb actually still does fine haha. and leave you with no support after they release the phone. they move on to the next device. so go for decent company thats pretty well known or consistent with updates. just a heads up :) if u buy from china haha.

anyways. well this is a great buy, ive been reading around the software has been running pretty well considering its a mid range mtk cpu i think this one uses a sony senor. one i do recommend to alot of people is the meizu m2 note. good company and awesome quality and finish on there phones both in terms of hardware and software. its running a mtk6753 its an octa core.theres also the lenovo k3 note with the mtk6752 processor which in benchmarks beats the mtk6752 on the meizu, but even for a big company such as lenovo the phone suffered a few hicups in terms of software, considering it has a 3000mah bat it did only pretty average, and smoothness could be better and apprently theres malware on that preinstalled to you have to root it to remove it and stuff like that. i got the meizu my self its great, cameras are amazing for the price you pay thats comparing to my note 4 btw :)). front camera is incredibly clear and the back is good to software wise everything runs smoothly better than the lenovo with the more powerful chip. theres also the oukitel u10 coming out next both btw. i could tell you so many other brands but dont trust there software and support. hope that helps sorry to much info

I ordered the Umi Iron which is the newer model after UMI emax. It end up costing me $240AUD. It should arrive in next 2-4 weeks but it offers a lot more than this one. Full HD screen, 3GB ram and metal body etc. Its my first experience with a Chinese phone and it won't be my main phone but really wanted to try one at this price.
