These are not cheapest they have ever been but quite good for flights until 31 March 2016 but assume holidays will be blackout period.
Slightly cheaper again on Expedia and Skyscanner. Read about this deal on Whirlpool travel, airfare forum which has link to R.I Facebook page. Loading was very light on my return from London late May. Only 70 in economy so plenty of room to stretch out in economy.
DalyWaters on Whirlpool travel is saying offer ends July 19th. Go to deals section on URL given above. I gave precise details but only homepage URL came up.

No grog
Can't go 8 hrs without booze?
Byo, just ask for a cup and pour it yourself. I have seen ppl done it on RBA.
The very fact that having no alcohol on board turns people off is great. Less likely to have bogans cause havoc like on Jetstar Bali flights.
Just went return from MEL to LHR with Royal Brunei. It's actually a pretty decent airline. They keep you well fed and hydrated and as OP said, it was pretty empty from London to Brunei with only the Brunei to Melbourne trip being packed in like sardines.
No Alcohol and nothing at transit airport but Very Punctual.
Melb only.
Nice find. This even beats some JQ fares.
Love BI because the no alcohol rule rules out a lot of the bogans on cheap fares, & you can BYO if you're really that desperate. Absolutely nothing going on at the transit airport, though. Make sure you have lounge access or a fully charged device to keep you entertained.
And the dream liner seems better as pressurization is lower. Love the folding toilet doors and toilets always kept immaculately clean.
Seating is generous, layout seems spacious. My tall son found it comfortable when travelled MEL BKK return in economy.
there is a coffee lounge at Brunei but little else. Business lounge is so so, shower is not up to scratch. I found a combined economy to LHR and business LHR to MEL was good value, about $3300 from memory. Liked the extra stop in Dubai as you could get out and stretch your legs.
They only fly out of MEL but don't get too jealous as lots more flights and cruises from SYD!
Melb only?
