  • I saw the sentinel offer on another site but couldn't find anything about the terms and conditions for the movie tickets. which cinema and what restrictions?

  • Hmm I'm getting coupon not valid. Trying 3 bags of the dachshund.

  • +3

If I gave this stuff my my Lab she'd want to move to a better neighbourhood .. :-( .. !!

  • +1

What happens if I give food for a boxer to a dachshund?

    • +2

      It will explode.

    • +1

nothing, dogs will eat anything. I really cant see specific breed food makes much difference.

      • +1

My understanding is that for each breed the size and shape of each piece of kibble is suited to things like the breeds jaw size. It is also supposed to be nutritionally matched to the needs of the individual breed. That said, my dog would eat the cat's vomit if he was allowed, so I don't think he really cares much.

        • +2

exactly, all brands have different sizes for small /large dogs, but I think the very minute changes in the formula for, eg, a labrador and a german shepard would mean nothing - apart from marketing/sales.

    • Have a review of the ingredients and decide for yourself

      http://www.petfoodreviews.com.au/dry-dog-food/royal-canin/

  • Anyone know if the sentinel is any good. Does it replace Frontline?

    • I've tried a few, and now only use Advocate exclusively.
Heard that sentinel and frontline has gotten crappy over the years. You can search online about it not being affective as before.

      • I tried Interceptor (also made by Novartis, I think) for a bit but my dogs don't like eating chews, so not gonna try Sentinel. Also tried Frontline but it was, indeed, crappy. Now sticking to Advantage.

I don't know how the 50% off works.
    I choose this one http://www.luckypet.com.au/royal-canin-boxer-adult-dry-dog-f…
    It is $116.95
add to cart and add discount code and says

    You Earn 116 Rewards Points
Subtotal $114.52 - NOT $116.95 FOR SOME REASON
    Discount (RCBREED50) -$53.16 - NOTE THIS ISNT 50% OFF.
Shipping & Handling (Shipping Options - Tracking with Signature Required) $26.36 THIS IS THE CHEAPEST POSTAGE
    Grand Total Excl. Tax $81.95
    Tax $8.20
    Grand Total Incl. Tax $90.15
    .
    .
    .
Now I see what happens, the 50% off is before GST. A bit sneaky I think.

    • Now I see what happens, the 50% off is before GST.

I don't see how that should make a difference? The GST is 10% of the price.

They can't charge you GST for the Normal price. That would be illegal

      • but isnt thats what happened here?

        50% off $116 is not $53.
then they add shipping, then they add GST.

        • -1

GST is still 10%, you can't change that…

  • In case anyone else was wondering, looks like offer is just dog food, code doesn't appear to work on Royal Canin dry cat food.

  • Coupon code "RCBREED50" is not valid.
