@JV my usual rate are 150 for single cab utes, 200 for sedans and dual cab utes, 260 for SUVs, and 300 for big 4WDS. So yeah $20 off that, thats all with darkest legal tint. European cars are a it extra though. Check my facebook fanpage.

@dosada - sorry thought I mentioned on ad. I am based in Thomastown.

    • $200 for sedans ? sweet!!! all our 4 cars have been tinted here in Nth Vic @ $330 each, sounds good to me …. +post

hi rep, see the little "reply" link under each persons comments? when you are replying to those people please click the reply to make things easier to understand.

this has been a community service announcement sponsored in part by completely unintelligible comment threads everywhere…

Small businesses seem to get a bad rep here, yet look at the front page. There are a ton of bullshit posts that get plenty of upvotes. This community has truly deteriorated. This guy seems like he is giving an honest and reasonable discount and you all mock him or complain? The (profanity) is wrong with you guys.

Keep on trucking supatint, if you were in Sydney I would take up this offer.

because the community if full of people who think udemy deals are something amazing, yet same thing can be found on the net for free

Get a grip. There aren't any prices provided or any comparisons to competitor pricing. The magical discount you're rubbing yourself over is completely useless unless we know the end pricing, yet you're having a dig at everyone for not voting ? Maybe we're all missing something, perhaps you can explain to us what the super deal is here? Some examples would be good too.

He has put prices down, 9 hours before your post. (i didnt down vote you btw)

I paid $295 for our small SUV so $260 less $20 is an OK price.

I have a general question about tinting, our car has the darkest legal tint but I see others are even darker, does that mean if they are pulled over they will get a fine, or if they are in an accident the insurer may not cover because the dark tint blocks your vision?

    • +1

You would think so. But how would the coppers differentiate what is legal and what is not? Is there a way to classify each shade?

      • -1

hmmm how would one possibly measure the darkness of window tint? on i know…. a window tint meter….

        http://www.translock.com.au/products/window_tint_meter

        • Well there you go. Quite interesting that such devices exist.

        • also worthy of note is that some cars have factory tinted glass and the laws state total minimum lite transmittance so if you put "darkest legal tint" on glass that is also already factory tinted you will be under the given minimums and thus illegal.

thats partly why many tint shops will have meters to measure etc to save problems down the track

  • Sent across a text mate. Was just after a removal of rear hatch tint and new. If it helps, it's for a 180sx.

What about warranties for bubbling tint etc?

The "lifetime" guarantee only lasts as long as the business

  • I have had two cars tinted here six months ago, the quality is amazing, I've had one small bubble in one of my windows at the beginning and it was fixed without questions. In terms of the business staying on I have also done my reverse sensors here about 3 years ago

  • If you're in the west area. The guys from GTS Tinting charge around $180 to $200 for tinting done to sedans.

I had my car and my house done with them and they did a fantastic job.

  • How much for a '99 Tarago?

  • We need more people like you in South Australia.
