  • Have to provide email for download. Any direct link?

  • If you're more of a heavy downloader and don't have Common Sense 2015™ installed, checkout http://anti-virus-software-review.toptenreviews.com/.

Generally BitDefender has deals on OZB every two-three months or so.

AVG is fine and all, but is generally used because it is so well known. Along with Norton which comes with manufacturers (HP, Dell, Asus) Windows.
If you ever get offered Norton when purchasing a computer at Harvey Norman/JB just decline. Waste of money when you can get equal protection for cheaper.

  • Had the free 2014 edition and the 2015 wouldn't accept the key displayed above!

Not sure if anyone else had the same problem?

Uninstalled AVG and went with the 2015 Avast promotion instead which seems to be doing well (fingers crossed..)

  • I put the Silent1 key into my existing free edition and I now have a Trial that lasts 373 days. Now to see if there is any functional difference.

  • haven't used a 3rd party antivirus since microsoft security essentials came out.
now windows 8/8.1 and 10 all have it embedded.

    why bother?

a bit of common sense goes a loooong way.

Dont download software from that website. I installed free AVG for a friend from there and his internet got all screwed up. Before that I had installed hidemyip and even though it was not running, it screwed up my internet. I realize the hidemyip uses a ip from another country etc and that could be the reason why my internet wont work anymore but thats not the case with AVG. Something is definitely fishy about free software from that website. In both cases internet was back to normal right after uninstalling the softwares.
