I'm after something to transmit audio to form my laptop/phone via Bluetooth.
I bought a cheapie ($3.50) from eBay which is surprisingly good but my devices only work within about 1meter of the device. It was this one: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/USB-Bluetooth-Music-Audio-Stereo-…
So I'm after a more powerful one.
Any suggestions?
I recently purchased http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/291442230219 for my car. Claims 10M range.
I haven't tested the range too much, but I can confirm it works well at 5M.
The instructions included suck, telling you to sync with the wrong button, but otherwise seems to do the job.
I bought this one recently, it looks bigger in the photos but it's really tiny… It has an inbuilt battery in it too… Range wise I have used it for in about 5-6m range - works well.
The best thing about this is that you can pair it with 2 devices and stream audio to them simultaneously.

Cheers for the responses. I think I may be expecting a bit much- I was hoping for more like 10 metres. Maybe to get this kind of range- I'd have to get a brand name (like logitech)?
Or maybe someone's clever enough to tell me how to modify one to boost the strength? Ha
I would make an alternate suggestion and look into Airplay. You can use an app like shiaport on your laptop in combination with Airaudio on an Android device for awesome quality audio via Wi-Fi. Much better and more reliable than bluetooth IMO.
Most of the units on eBay seem to claim 10 metres, but they may not really be any different to the one you have.
