Been wanting one of these. Still expensive for a toothbrush tho.

    • Having had both I can tell you this is much better than an OralB.

      • What oral b brush you comparing it with?

      • That's what my dentist said too. He doesn't recommend any products willy nilly for fear of being branded a salesman so I believe him when he says this is a very very good toothbrush.

        • Not the fanciest OralB, but the top range ones only have extra features, the underlying tech is the same (maybe except for the really cheap ones). The Philips feels like a precision tool, the OralB rough as guts once you compare the two. Philips uses Li-Ion batteries too. Philips brushes are pricey but they last a long time so don't worry about that.

  • I have had one of these for almost 2 years. It's incredible. The surface of all my teeth are now smooth, for example coffee stains on inside of my front teeth that dentist used to remove are cleared with this brush without effort and have never returned. Also, Philips replacement heads are very expensive, ebay generic heads are fine in my opinion and less than $1 each. I wouldn't get by any other toothbrush after using this.

If you want it cheaper again than $199, simply ebay (seems the sellers from Korea where I got mine were the cheapest, roughly $150-170 from memory). USB wireless charging is great for travel.

    • womble, what brushes do you recommend? do you have links? Thanks

      • I got a multi pack with a few different types from a UK seller on eBay. They were genuine ones so not super cheap, but I'd had some fake Oralb ones that weren't very good, so thought it worth getting these ones.

I bought from this guy in 2014:
        http://www.ebay.com.au/usr/denalcare1?_trksid=p2057872.m2749…
4x SONICARE REPLACEMENT TOOTHBRUSH HEADS COMPATIBLE PHILIPS PRORESULTS HX6013 (I bought 2 packs and still have a few left)

But to be honest, looking at the other generics on ebay they look identical the ones I got from denalcare1 (guessing the T on his keyboard is broken).
