same here….the gold are more readily available most places but they wouldn't let you swap, even after almost 2 weeks waiting.
asked the lady who kept me updated very nicely and she said yes, i rocked up with a box of chocolates (not realising she really shouldn't eat them)….

Just picked up mine from the frankston store!they rang and gave me options for the colours as space grey is only coming in next week. Excellent deal!

Thanks, emailed Good Guys Frankston saying nicely I could not wait any longer and requested gold model. They issued new invoice for macbook 12inch gold, picking up this weekend after I organise my packed lunch for drive from Melbourne to Frankston (would not let me pickup from metro store).
PS. Wish I could get someone else to pay for my helicopter ride from Melbourne to Frankston, so I do not need a packed lunch. Any offers (helicopter bargains)?

Any of you still waiting for the macbook? I am still waiting for mine. To be pick up in Highpoint. I called the Good guys online and the store. They would not let me pick a different colour and doesn't have an update for me when i would be able to pick it up.
They are still getting them, I got mine yesterday.

They rang me up, told me it was ready for pick up. Mind you I have a very helpful lady and I left her a chocolate when I went to pick up. they normally have their shipments on Monday from what I can tell. good luck mate, let us know how you go.
