Can't find many reviews on this phone but looks like a great form factor, compares to iPhone Plus at a quarter of the price.
Specs are off a bit but seems like a bargain for what you get?

It's only worth it if you value the big front facing camera with LED flash for selfies.
1GB Ram no no.
not great reviews

Not a bargain by any stretch… Zenfone 2 will get you better specs for a tiny bit more.
Or for those who like living dangerously can try importing a Lenovo K3 Note.
Zenfone 2 720p version is actually cheaper.
No idea about this particular handset, but avoid this particular company at all costs!
I had a phone die which I had bought from them, the warranty replacement process took SIX MONTHS!!!
I have never seen such a poor example of so called 'customer service' in my life.
AVOID TOPBUY LIKE THE PLAGUE THEY ARE!!!
Thanks for the warning.
People are hating on this phone based on Specs on paper but this is a solid phone. Its meant for selfie lovers with front LED and 5 MP camera but in the end it gives a good, smooth experience. Even though RAM is 1 GB, it works just fine as opposed to Samsung phones having trouble with even 4 GB of RAM. Sony's UI is very clean and appealing and updates are quite frequent. I was going to buy this one for mom but the 5.5" screen will be too big for a average user.
regardless of who its for 280 for those specs is not good value for your money.
Again, on paper. The durability, feel, UI, battery life all matter too.
I think you don't use fb, whatsapp, etc……
I use everything and it runs everything just fine. No hiccups whatsoever. Not a single one. I have used a 4GB Samsung and it slowed down frequently.
Samsung have never released a mobile phone with 4GB RAM. Just saying.
@AznMitch: That must have been a 2GB phone then. It was friend's. I thought he said 4GB ram, haha.
@alikazi: Eh, Touchwiz is known for being sluggish. They chuck in sludge of features people may use or not use and that tends to slow things down a lot. Though, I find it weird a 2GB phone would run worse than this. I own a Samsung phone with 2GB and I haven't felt like it was sluggish or struggling.
Sony is known for better software support at least, seeing how many phones and tablets they've moved to Lollipop. Not sure about Sony UI though. Only things that I've heard that sort of stayed with me were how fragile the Sony phones are (though it was on an online forum, so it might be just a whine from someone who've received a faulty unit).
That being said, this budget phone is too expensive for what it is in my opinion. If I go purely onto Australian stock, I could grab Galaxy S3 4G which has better hardware overall. If I stop limiting my focus to Australian stock, G2, Zenfone 2, etc etc, there are better alternatives.
@AznMitch: I guess its just a fanboy thing then. I used a Xperia Sola 2-3 years ago and it was awesome. Everyone who held it loved it. I bought a Z1 as a main phone and a C3 as a secondary phone both of which I got for great deals without warranty. I used a friend's samsung flagship and it did slow down or hang at least once a day. I even read about Samsung's RAM allocation issue or something. Overall I also didnt prefer the display of Samsung as it looked too much toward "Cool temperature". Sony's UI is really clean at least due to Playstation type backgrounds. My C3 has been dropped multiple times, it is not fragile and my Z1 has been used underwater and washed under tap - the waterproofing is good enough. Now I am definitely a fan of Sony Xperia. I know the prices are high for the hardware but to each his own.
Shave off $100 and then may be
