Cool. Will come in handy when I eventually get to buying the S5.

  • Plastic screen protectors are starting to become a thing of the past.

Glass screen protectors are where it's at, also, I find that my finger slides along the glass screen protector much more easily than plastic ones. Not sure if that's also the case with genuine Samsung plastic screen protectors

    • Do you even need screen protectors these days? Gorilla glass is pretty much scratch resistant.

      • +1

Not in the slightest. The only time I'd recommend a screen protector, is a glass one for impact. That's it. I hate seeing my friends who apply 50c bulk buy eBay protectors themselves, and they're scratched and bubbly. Absolutely no need.

        • … and they're scratched and bubbly …

Yup, people buy expensive phones with state-of-the-art screens that look crVp with screen protector applied. There's a severe shortage of applied logic in the world.

      • But its not scratch proof

  • its also online good for spares,i have glass one with lifetime replacement,so may no need for this, but for this price is a bargain, even if i dont use them can always sell them on it not needed etc, they are selling for $21 each in officeworks.

    • Hey can you link to the one with lifetime replacment…. im on my second glass one and its cracked…. really just want one that is as tuff as they claim.

  • Yes its the zagg,if your quick enough you can get it for half the normal price it normally is from dick smith but then they have offers on all the times these days but you will find that this will double in price when today is finished,i first seen them months ago at this price or may have been a little less and next day back to there normal high price.I have no complaints so far:

    • if you can find an officeworks with stock, should make it just under $26.

  • Avoiding the cheapest tempered glass protectors at ~$2, does it matter if the tempered glass is branded or not?

EG. $26 Zagg vs this no name Japanese tempered glass protector for $5.94?
