Target appear to be having 50% off Telstra Prepaid 'stuff'.
This included a variety of low-end mobiles. Didn't have time to check them all, but took the attached pic which i thought was an ok deal (no idea if it includes data sorry).
From memory had the Lumia 520 for $44.50, and the standard Telstra USB 4G for $24.50
Note this was in the Glen, VIC
How does this compare to the two pre-paid 4G my Pocket Wi-Fi modems that Telstra sell: $79 with 3Gb of data and $129 with 5GB of data.
Secondly what is the difference between the plus and & ultimate models?

I got the E5377 for $78. It was unlocked & worked well with Telstra

It supports the all important 700Mhz band which Telstra & Optus are using as their national 4G band (except in Canberra for the moment)
Yep i love this model too streaming Spotify thru it as i drive the burbs :)
via my mobile wifi/then direct connection to car stereo.

I got this modem too but it was like early last year, it was $98 (TGG gave me a dollar discount!) and it has served me pretty good.

I can't get NBN or fixed line broadband, or even dial up as I live in regional Australia, so this little beauty is my connection to the world. I have an external aerial plugged in (both upload/download) and I can't fault it. Got it unlocked, so I can jump around my sim cards, has worked well on Vodafone,Telstra,Optus etc. There is no 4G in my area, but 3G is good enough.
Basically had mine going 24/7 for the last 6 months and no issues. Battery life is good, I would recommend to everyone. Might get myself a spare one!

Couldn't see any in Perth CBD Target either.
THey were out of stock of this model at Target Melbourne CBD, but I was able to get a "Telstra Wifi 4G" (ZTE MF91) for $29.50. It doesn't say anything about included data but has a SIM expiry of 12 Sep 2015.
EDIT: doh, doesn't look like this model supports LTE 700. Still, got it for using on holidays with my cheapy cheap $30 starter kit SIMs so it'll do the job OK.
REPL-EDIT: looks like the E5372T doesn't support 700 either, so I needn't feel bad :-)
Sorry to be the party pooper, but the MF91 is old and only cat 3 ie. all things being equal will run at 2/3 the speed of this one.
Still… twice as fast as 3G.

Ehh! Just paid $25 for used one at gumtree yesterday ;/ Still decent price compare to those dreamer at ebay asking for $70++. Also, this model can be easily unlocked(Code cost me $1.5 from ebay and you can unlock it for free with some research on google). The different between this one and vodafone one is the battery: This one have 3000++Mah battery while vodafone around 1500mAh++, also some 4g frequency is different. I would highly recommend this one for anyone who travel alot: Get it and unlock it and use local sim card (If you are using Optus post paid plan you can request data share sim card for one setup fee $5 and enjoy your data) :)
