Cards against was unavailable in Australia until quite recently. Before that you had to jump through a few more hoops or print it yourself to get the game.
Buying direct from the CAH website is definitely the way to go now though.

Though I just noticed they don't do "free shipping" unless >$40 spend now.
I believe it became available to buy direct from them to coincide with their appearance at PAX Aus (2014 Nov). So you might have gotten it soon after that.
I'd bet they're hoping you'll buy one of the expansion sets to push it over $40 and get free shipping.
Avalon gets my recommendation if/when they get more stock. Particularly great when with good friends + beer.
Worst online experience I ever had with a company. Took over 3 months for them to refund my order. Despite them promosing "priority refund" multiple times. Had to go through deptartment of fair trading nsw to get an actual result.
Check reviews on facebook etc before you buy..

Sorry to hear that rezmo but I totally agree with you on that too. Bought Twilight Struggle from Games Paradise in early April and after paying for it online was told that it is out of stock. I still haven't receive my game yet and they never bother updating me when it will arrive unless I ask.
I will never buy from Games Paradise in future

Nooo, can't use on MTG!
whoa!! ok, I just went to their web site for the first time ever and it said there were items in my cart.. so I clicked on it and there were three items there… I refreshed and they disappeared.
I then clicked on Settlers of Catan and there were two items in my cart - DIFFERENT than before. I think there are issues with their web server with items being carried over.. personally I'm not confident of security on their site in that case, so I will not be ordering anything online from here.
Even 25% off would not convince me to order from this company again!!
First time, they said the game was in stock, but I had to email them before they actually shipped it (weeks later)
Second time, they said the game was in stock, and then emailed me saying it actually wasn't and offering a refund.
It took two months, multiple emails and the threat of lodging a complaint with NSW fair trade before they actually processed the refund.
Check out facebook and other review sites, my experiences weren't unique!!
