Yes, I read it before it was edited. At that time the "@ Amazon" bit was missing. All good now.

  • Comparing to Samsung one, which one is better?
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IVPU88U?psc=1&redirect=t…

I mean I can see Samsung one is slower on writing…
but I am not sure whether it is significant in spec and compare to price…

    Any comments?

  • I have been following this item. 60usd is the normal price- even cheaper than the Sandisk Extreme Plus at 65Usd despite it's considered to be top of the range. Something just doesnt make sense here

    • That is true, thats why I snapped it up before it changes. I've seen this before happen where they realise the price is incorrect and they will change it.
Anyways for that price, you can't find here in Oz thats for sure

  • All other things being equal 4K will require about 4 times the data rate of FHD.
However when h.265 encoders become common in cameras it will require only about 2 times the FHD data rate.
So 4K at 60 fps will require about 80 mbps for very nice quality (10MB/s for h.265, 20MB/s for h.264).
So any microSD card that can reliably and consistently write at 30MB/s or more should be all you'll ever need.

    …. Almost.
FUHD aka 8K will require 4 times the data rate of UHD aka 4k.
    So 40MB/s if h.265, 80MB/s if h.264.

    • Well, it is more to it.
      1) You will get much quicker write allowing you to take pictures faster / relieve the buffer faster - i.e. when taking pictures at rates of 3 to 15 fps
      2) GoPro Black requires at least 40MB for some of its modes

  • It is good one, consider to pick up one.
