Various Discounted Gift Cards - David Jones (10%), Good Guys (7.5%), Wish, Myer, Coles, etc (5%)

490

Just received an email about some discounted gift cards from a rewards company I have an affiliate with. Anyone should be able to buy them though. I haven't seen these guys sell gift cards before so not sure how long they will be available for. Gift Cards have a small delivery fee but e-Gift Cards are free.

Was thinking of using these gift cards to buy a Neato Botvac 85 (currently $849 on sale) which would bring down the price to $765. Does anyone know how long the DJ's sale will last?

Wow the good guys cards are great deal if you're planning to buy something expensive.

  • Out of curiosity does anyone know if you can buy gift cards with these gift cards from each respective company? So if say DJ or GG randomly have a gift card discount of their own in the future would i be able to purchase a gift card using this gift card thus increasing my value again for free?

    • Can't see why anyone would allow that.

      discountception!

  • Hmmmm and DJs accepts gift cards for online purchases too?

    • -1

      No.
Can't think of anyone (major) who does.

      • -1

Woolworths do. And I don't see why anyone major wouldn't..

      • Dick Smith & JB HiFi do. Myer not, but their website is famously crap.

      • Oh thanks, they finally fixed it.
Would this work with credit card reward schemes gift cards?

  • can you use TGG gift card during ebay sale?.

    • I don't know but I wouldn't worry about it. You can get better prices by haggling in store most of the times.

      • When you reach ebay check out, it says gift card, not sure if it's paypal giftcard or TGG gift card.
Has anyone tried it?. Would be sweet if you can stack and also get 20% off ebay sale again

        • TGG gift cards cannot be used on eBay

Thanks OP did not know they now offer e-gift cards! Previously you had to pay delivery on plastic gift cards, so dearer than Entertainment Book e-gift cards.

    • Im a Bupa member… so how to register account with them? Can't see any register link on the site…

  • You will be lucky to receive these gift cards. I just spoke to Strategic Deals yesterday. The company manages internal staff incentives/promotions for big businesses like Telstra, David Jones, Harvey Norman etc. Their offers are not open to the general public. The links above were apparently leaked to OB.

They may just decide to fulfil the orders to keep punters happy. But I would double check and request a refund if not.

Got my refund processed this morning. Guess they'll have to plug that hole.
