Southwest have a sale on for Domestic US flights. The site is getting absolutely destroyed right now but should be functional once the Americans go to sleep. Useful for people who have already booked their international leg through the Air NZ deals

this isn't that cheap for the longer haul flights.. i've seen cheaper through Skyscanner results via Delta/United etc.
Plus I flew with them last year and they are absolutely hopeless, scrapping down the bucket of budget airlines - its like a public bus first checked in gets first seats they want, no allocation.Southwest was the model for Ryanair in Europe, although when I was looking at domestic flights they weren't any cheaper than their competitors (unlike Ryanair), and some of the airports they flew to were in the middle (like Ryanair).
The good thing about SW is that they don't charge for luggage.
