Wasteland 2 Classic Edition GOG Key

Classic Edition includes:

A free copy of Wasteland 1 - The Original Classic.
Mark Morgan's Wasteland 2 original sound track in digital format.
An incredible digital concept art book showcasing many of the world's characters and environments.
Welcome back to the Citadel, Rangers! Join the over 70,000 Kickstarter backers and interact with the development team to help shape the ending of an already historic post-apocalyptic story. The Wasteland's hellish landscape has been waiting for you to make your mark… or die trying.

Wasteland 2 is the direct sequel to 1988’s Wasteland, the first-ever post-apocalyptic computer RPG and the inspiration behind the Fallout series. Until Wasteland, no other CRPG had ever allowed players to control and command individual party members for tactical purposes or given them the chance to make moral choices that would directly affect the world around them. Wasteland was a pioneer in multi-path problem solving, dripping in choice and consequence and eschewing the typical one-key-per-lock puzzle solving methods of its peers, in favor of putting the power into players’ hands to advance based on their own particular play style.

The Wasteland series impressive and innovative lineage has been preserved at its very core, but modernized for the fans of today with Wasteland 2. Immerse yourself in turn-based tactical combat that will test the very limits of your strategy skills as you fight to survive a desolate world where brute strength alone isn’t enough to save you. Deck out your Ranger squad with the most devastating weaponry this side of the fallout zone and get ready for maximum destruction with the RPG-style character advancement and customization that made the first Wasteland so brutal. Save an ally from certain death or let them perish – the choice is yours, but so are the consequences.

  • Is this the full game or just the additional add on keys?

    • Hi Ayat0llah, this is the full game :)

      Cheers,

  • Where do you source your keys from, rep?

    • -1

All the same sites you use, but via VPN to get cheaper pricing :P

      • Batman: Arkham Knight - GMG Russia had it for under $20 USD.

I don't remember the exact price and can't check anymore as it's been removed from store now. Probably due to abuse by resellers just like what happened when Cities Skylines was ~$8 on launch. Top offenders may have their purchases cancelled again. Especially easy to do with this game since keys have not even been released yet.

The game also comes bundled with certain Nvidia cards so promotional codes are abundant. Can be picked up for $15-$20 USD.

      • Wasteland 2 Classic Edition - $6 USD from GOG Ukraine.

      • Evolve - $24 USD from Nuuvem.

Yeah the problem with key sites like this one is that you can't even be confident of that unfortunately. Frequently they're bought on stolen credit cards, or are even keys sourced from stolen retail copies (unlikely with preorders, obviously).

I don't like to pay the Australia tax for games, but I prefer to buy games which are being sold with approval from the publisher (i.e. meant for our region and discounting is coming from the retailer side, not from the developer/publisher). Which is why I was asking. If you're going to buy instead of pirate, I figure the money should at least be going to the developers and people who fronted the costs of development.

  • Hey guys, our keys are sourced from official distributors in Ukraine, no vpn's are used as you could get your account banned if you use VPN. Also these are full games, not addons.

I hope this answers your questions, if you need extra info feel free to contact our support team :)

      Cheers, appreciate the response

    • I call bullshit since the only official source for GOG keys is GOG themselves, although on occasion they've worked together with Humble Bundle.

For example, "The Witcher 3" which you also sell. Even the GOG keys sold on GMG were from "unknown sources" and CDPR urged fans not to buy from them as they don't see any of the revenue from that promotion.

Anyone claiming to be an official distributor of GOG keys is full of it, unless that someone is actually GOG themselves.

      • Hello Kamoi, sorry to hear about your discomfort. Unfortunately I am not allowed to disclose any other details about our suppliers other than what is mentioned above. If you remain concerned about the legitimacy of our products feel free to contact our customer care as they will be in a better position to answer you.

        Have a nice evening,

        • Hello Kamoi, sorry to hear about your discomfort.

Discomfort? What are you on about mate?

Unfortunately I am not allowed to disclose any other details about our suppliers

I didn't ask you to. It's quite easy to figure it all out. You only stock games which have recently had ridiculously low prices in other regions.

Every time you grey market sellers offer the same story of official distributors yada yada yada not allowed to say more. You guys don't sign any contracts with the developers/publishers so there is no NDA involved or other such things to prevent you from disclosing information.

I can understand that you are trying to run a business and as such don't want to reveal your sources, but lying to the customers claiming that you have "official distributors" in Ukraine is just not right.

Take a look at this tweet by GOG from 3 weeks ago.

http://GOG.com is the only legitimate source of our games - we've authorised no other resellers. Stay safe from scammers!

You still wanna try and bullshit us saying you have an official distributor? Get out of here.

Negative vote for unethical business practices. Deceptive conduct. Lying and misleading.

        • @kamoi:

Hi Kamoi, I do apologise for having to repeat myself. As said previously feel free to contact our team if you are concerned by the sourcing of our products as I am not authorised to disclose information regarding our suppliers. As said previously we source our games from official suppliers based primarily in Ukraine.

To date we maintain a steady record of happy customers and always try our best to put them first (One of the reasons why there are BlueDroid Reps who go through forums :) )

Unfortunately I will not be posting a followup on this conversation as I believe we could debate forever. If you'd like to continue our chat feel free to PM me ;)

          Happy Bargaining,

          • Droidy.
        • @Droidy:

Hi Kamoi, I do apologise for having to repeat myself.

You really didn't need to. Please read what I posted instead of patronizing me. Specifically the official tweet by GOGcom stating "http://GOG.com is the only legitimate source of our games - we've authorised no other resellers. Stay safe from scammers!"

Unfortunately I will not be posting a followup on this conversation as I believe we could debate forever.

A debate would involve you publicly addressing/discussing these concerns. This is you getting called out for lying and flat out refusing to explain yourself.

Debate - a formal discussion on a particular matter in a public meeting or legislative assembly, in which opposing arguments are put forward and which usually ends with a vote.

I think OzBargain would be wise to adopt a stance similar to that of Reddit GameDeals when it comes to grey market key resellers. Ban them from posting or at the very least require them explicitly state on the first line of the post that they are an unauthorized reseller and risks may be involved.
