Have been watching these games for awhile and have missed all the other sales on them,the evolve one looks alright has mixed reviews and is not worth full price, can't find any significantly cheaper CDkeys, distant world looks like a fun game, could be worth the try if your in the need of a new 4X game.

haha yeah I read that! They upset a lot of people with their model upon its release… I never bought and played it despite it looking awesome because of this.
I played the beta, the game sucked. If the monster was good, as the hunters you'd run around for 5 minutes and lose.
If the monster was bad you killed him in 2 minutes flat.
I think I had 2-3 of my ~15 games that I would consider enjoyable, and thats terrible.

I played like crazy during the first beta, and it was awesome fun. During the second beta, it wasn't nearly as good. All the lower-tier characters felt weak.
I'd consider getting it when it drops to half this price, if there's any community left…

I was just coming here to warn people of the lack of community for Evolve, I'd only ever pick it up on a $5 sale on Steam knowing that would probably kick start the community for a bit. I can't believe it's still so pricey, even at 40% off it's a rip off!
What a failure of a AAA game.
Evolve = Titanfall.

Titanfall was a fun game with not enough depth though, this isn't, its just a crap game.
True true. I'm being too harsh on titanfall, but the trend for hyped / overbudgeted AAAs are still there.
+1 for distant worlds. Rarely goes on sale, 500+ hours of game time, the defining 4x space strategy game (i kid you not). Just overlook the crappy graphics!
i really enjoy this game,have played it since the alpha.really looks great if you have a high end computer.alot of haters out there,but it is a pretty unique game.
And $48 is still asking way too much for a game with so little content and a very toxic community. Oceanic region is practically dead. Buy with caution.
