In my opinion the Vodafone Pay as you go is one of the best prepaid options (as you can roll over both data and call credit when you recharge at expiry). I usually pay the 10$ Pay as you go recharge 20% discounted making it 8$ and then a 5$ 500MB data add-on per months (as I never use up everything it accumulates nicely for the times when my usage is higher) - great for people who have low and high usage periods. Be aware that the recharge for the call credit lasts 30 days and data only 28 days … so you need to calculate with 13 recharges a year!

  Is there any voda recharge (365 days excepted) which has a greater than 30 day expiry? (they removed the text and talk..although you can still recharge existing numbers on this)

    it might be good for those recent vodafone sims, they have free data on weekends and some free international calls or something plus they keep offering me extra 50% value if I recharge.

    Agree that this is the far better deal. But there will be lots of people who don't want to port their number constantly (and are not just after the data).
    But it's great that there are so many offers now so everyone can find something suitable … :-)

  You are now eligible to purchase the Vodafone $30 starter kit for $10. You must redeem by 05/06/2015.

  This was on the bottom of my receipt yesterday. I spent $69 on groceries and scanned my EDR card. I can't find details about the offer anywhere though…

  I think it's a bargain comparing with other provider's plan.
