It sure is cheap, and $578 returned to Bangkok is even less than what they advertised. The only down side I suppose is that you have to organise your holiday well well in advance.

"undergoing maintenance" can mean "big traffic spike after we sent out our promotion email has just crashed our servers, which unsurprisingly has happened many times before. :(
Somehow when I tried to book to Kuala Lumpur, flying from Melbourne (Avalon) via Sydney, it shows $306 return inclusive of tax (where taxes are only $13 outbound and $0 inbound).
THAT is Phenomenal! This is just a little bit over the promo price of one way tix out of Sydney!
Well, sure enough it was the first time I have managed to get the deal that is advertised.
I've tried booking before - but never managed to find the awesome prices that are normally mentioned.
Hopped on and the prices EXCLUDING TAX were $138 each way.
Including tax - they were $297 and $298.
All up $585 including all taxes and charges.
This was from Sydney to Osaka.
The first flight was a direct flight - the return flight was to Brisbane and then from Brisbane to Syd.
Still not bad.
Just checked this one out, and $578 return inc all charges to Bangkok in May. That's just sensational.
The good thing about these deals nowadays is that the market is getting
used to them… so they're taking longer to sell out.
