    • It's along the main aisle facing the sinks/carpet area. More than 15 this morning.

  • Thanks. Got one.

  • Would this be suitable for cleaning a concrete driveway?

    • +1

I just cleaned my pavers yesterday. As long as I moved slowly, it seemed to do a reasonable job. Depends on how dirty your concrete is. Obviously the more expensive ones will do a better job. At 49 dollars though it is worth a try….and you cannot go wrong. Worst case it can be used to wash our cars.

      • Thanks for the advice! I was thinking if I need to buy the extra accessories but now I think i'll give it a go first and see how it does.

    • It can do it but it will take you forever.

  • just bought at Epping store, they still have some of them

Hi, just a quick review on this product I bought yesterday and used today to wash my car. I would highly recommend this product for this price.

Set up was easy and the pressure from the cleaner would be comparable to that at a commercial car wash hose in my opinion.

The foam sprayer is a great addition, I used used a regular wash and wash detergent and it really suds up when sprayed onto the car.

The noise level is acceptable and it has an auto stop feature so the machine is quiet whenever the trigger is not depressed.

In summary, this was my first foray into pressure cleaners and I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

    Hope this helps.

    • Thanks for your in depth reply mate! Just a question, how much of the car wash concentrate did you put in the foam bottle?

      • +1

I just filled the bottle with un-diluted wash and wax detergent, I think the bottle fits about 500 mL. After giving the car a really thorough spray with this attachment, the bottle was half empty and then I rinsed the car down with the other nozzle attachment. The pack comes with 2 nozzle attachments and one seems to be for a stronger spray and the other is a softer spray. I used the stronger one to pre-rinse, the foamer to wash and then the softer nozzle spray to rinse the car down.

To be honest, I'm waiting for the car to get dirty again so I can blast it again with the foamer. :-)) Any wash and wax detergent will do the trick. I have a 5L CT-20 wash and wax bottle so that will last ages. The great thing is I didn't have to hand wash any stubborn spots, the foamer really works well.

        • Oh awesome! So I take it you didn't hand wash at all?! I was planning on pre rinse with this, then foam and rinse, then hand wash with the two bucket method and finally rinse and put nu finish on lol.

But I guess I could leave the hand wash part out! How long did you leave the foam on?

        • +1

No hand wash was required on the paint work but I did wipe the tyre-rims with a towel to get rid of the remaining stains.

The nozzle with the stronger spray used in the pre-wash will remove quite a lot of the dirt and loosen the more stubborn ones. The foamer should get most of the dirt off and the final rinse spray will finish off the job. I didn't leave the wash-and-wax detergent on for long but you could I guess. I found using the foamer attachment very similar to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIapVX3pucA
Keep in mind I only used a regular detergent, you could get a more effective clean with the foamer if you used other detergents such as a dedicated car-wash detergent without the wax. You could finally put the wax on the car at the end manually.

For $49 you really can't go wrong with this product considering using a foamer/pressure cleaner at a carwash costs a dollar a minute. I spent about 15 minutes using the pressure cleaner the first time so I figure it will pay for itself after a few washes.

        • @kombi17:

Thanks kombi, I'll have a go this weekend on washing my car!

        • @kombi17: Careful using regular detergent. It will strip any wax/sealant that you have.

        • Hi Atlas, when you say regular detergent, what do you mean?

When I mentioned it, I meant the regular car washing detergent you traditionally use with a filled bucket and sponge. I certainly didn't mean dish washing detergent or anything like that.

    • Thanks! Just need to find stock to get one

  • +1

I tested it out today as well. Fantastic value for $49.

It has sufficient pressure to clean a regular car. Could use a bit more for spraying down muddy 4WD's.

  • Thanks for the review folks, much appreciated. Picked mine up this morning and eventually will get it out for spring cleaning.

  • About a dozen left at O'Connor (WA) this evening.

  • I tested this out on the missus car and it took a chip of paint off. I won't be using it on my new car and suggest people use caution if they care about their car. It's a good product but I'll be using it on my bikes and around the house to avoid damaging my car.

    • I wouldn't think that it would have that much pressure

      • +1

Its not. The pressure hoses at car washes is stronger.

      • -1

Her car is a 4 year old subaru and paint came off rear bumper. Don't believe me, all good. Just letting ppl know so they can make up their own minds as I would've freaked if my car paint came off. We've also used the pay car wash countless times and it never happened. The gerni works a treat cleaning pavement and house windows though!

        • +1

Has the bumper been resprayed from an accident? Doesnt sound like its been primered right…

    • At what distance were you spraying the car?

    • +1

Subaru paint is notoriously soft. But it sounds like the paint was already deeply scratched/chipped.

    • Hope you didnt use the tornado nozzle…. thats design to blast concrete driveways!

  • +2

Thanks OP. Got the last one from castle Hill. BTW, it was marked down to $40 :)

    • +1

Was so happy that I got it cheaper than the others.
Opened it yesterday and turns out it was a display model or something and all the nozzles and foam attachement are missing :( Called bunnings and they said they can only offer a refund as they dont have any more stock.

      Oh well…

  • +2

Still 15 more left at manly west qld …still at $45

    • +1

$45 is still a saving from the other day lol, well done!

  • 2 pallets of stock at Belrose store

  • +1

None left at Rocklea - powerpass price was $46.55 :)

Can you use the Classic Patio or Patio Plus attachments with this model? They aren't listed as accessories for the 100.3, however they're supposed to work with all Classic models, which the 100.3 is one of. They do also list as belonging to the 100.3S which the only differences seem to be that it's sold exclusively by Supercheap at over twice the price, and it has a taller handle on top.

    Surely they should work?

    • +1

If I get a chance I'll try Patio Plus attachment tomorrow & let you know.

    • +3

I got negged for trying to help?!
      Really?!
Anyway, tried Patio Plus attachment today.
The first problem - I was unable to hook it up to supplied wand or extension. One part oh the connector on Patio Plus seemed fraction bigger (0.5~0.8mm) then my Classic 100.3. Not sure if it was done intentionally or it's just a difference in manufacturing as all other attachments from my Super 130.2 went on without an issue. I guess you can used a sandpaper or a file & make it fit without too much of a problem.
Once on Patio Plus worked, but it wasn't as effective as on the bigger machine.
On my exposed aggregate driveway it took 3~4 passes more to do the same job. On smoother surface it would probably be more effective, but you do notice the difference in pressure.
I also tried Click & Clean Auto Nozzle & found it to be much more effective in general cleaning then supplied nozzle (non-turbo one).
      Hope this helps.

      • +1

Thanks. Much appreciated. Maybe for now I'll just stick to the turbo nozzle unless I see one of the Patio cleaners at a great price. May just get an Auto Nozzle though by the sounds of it.

These things are great for the kitchen, I have the older model but it packs some serious punch. Check it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CN9u-kFlirQ

    • Lol!

    • Funny, but at the same time, really annoying.

Why would anyone trash their kitchen like that.

Must be a reason behind this, and I'd like to know why, lol.

  • -3

wouldnt this thing damage the paint from cars??

    • I didn't have any issues with my car which is 8 years old though I can imagine if the paint work was already chipped and the you put the jet spray close enough to the car, it may do some damage as one of the other reviewers posted above.

I mentioned in my earlier post that, in my opinion, although this pressure cleaner was comparable to those at a car wash it is a base model and wouldn't be as powerful as others that are more expensive. I think a bit of trial and error would be needed to see the right distance to wash your car at.

EDIT: apparently to maximise life, don;t store them with any water left in the pump. As per instructions, remove from tap and run the motor (briefly!) until no more water comes out.
