Eb games has psp for $40 and target has it for $50.

  • Is this the very DSi old version? I am very confused with their name.

    • +2

      a DSi is a DSi

    • Its the older model, goes in age order:
      Ds
      Ds Lite
      Dsi
      Dsi XL
      3ds
      3ds XL
New 3ds & New 3ds XL (current models)

You forgot the 2DS which is a flat 3DS.

Yep, so i did, and everyone else too!

        • So useless that you can't even fold it in half to put it away in anything.

        • @sigh:
I love my 2DS, 3d hurts me eyes.

        • @Agret: Some people actually cannot use the 3D function because it requires depth perception. So it's not a bad option to buy 2DS instead of 3DS for thoes people, since 2DS is cheaper than 3DS (though I do see your point about it being more portable).

@PainToad: I have a 3ds xl and don't use the 3d feature. The screens on the 2ds are smaller than the regular 3ds.

        • @Agret:
Actually no. The 2DS screen is the same size as the original 3DS screen. Yes, the XL is bigger, obviously.

      • OK in that case I think I bought two a few years ago during DSE clearance $40 each.

So no more new games going to release on this format anymore, right?

        • It's been a while

        • No new ds games for quite some time, focus is 3ds games and now more will start coming out utilising the full function if the New 3ds consoles

Yes. Only plays DS and DSi games. Good if you only play those games and want a larger screen as they become less sharp on the 3DS due to different resolutions.

For those curious, here is a list of DS/3DS consoles from oldest to newest (all have 'Nintendo' as their prefix):

    DS
    DS Lite
    DSi
    DSi XL (This deal)
    3DS
    3DSxl
    2DS
    New 3DS
    New 3DS XL

It's still the best console to play DS games. Newer consoles don't have the right resolution and scales DS games resulting in blurry and mismatched colours.
