  just a note on 'refurb' soniqs. Some members will recall a factory direct deal where they shipped numerous machines without proper packaging and they arrived smashed.

  We did this, got a smashed machine, and then the "replacement" only had one working hdmi port. Not very impressive.

  Yeah, there's always going to be someone with a bad buying experience with any brand; I would hazzard a guess that the numbers are probably a lot higher with soniq refurb machines though.
