Complimentary Heat Pressed Number on AFL Guernseys with Guernsey Purchase @ MCG Superstore

20

For those heading to the footy and thinking about purchasing a guernsey and getting a heat pressed number with it….

For a double heat pressed number this can save you up to $20, obviously you are paying RRP for the guernsey itself though!

If i purchase a guernsey through Cats Shop Online i'm going to get charged $99 for the guernsey, $20 for the number and $10 for postage
If i purchase through the MCG Superstore it is $110 for the guernsey and $10 for postage (no charge for the heat pressed number)
That said… you can save a further $10 for the postage if you are able to purchase directly at the MCG

To purchase merchandise while at the MCG, please visit our MCG Superstore located inside Gate 3 on Level 1. The store is open during events and on non-event days between 10am-5pm.

There are also 7 merchandise outlets located around the concourse which operate on event days only selling event related merchandise items.

I can't speak for other clubs, but for Cats fans that is up to a $19 saving… if you were going to buy a new guernsey of course!

That said, the MCG Superstore seems to only stock guernseys from Small to XXLarge, where your club is likely to sell them smaller and bigger. ISC recommend you purchase one size bigger than you normally wear!

  • with Guernsey Purchase

    They look more like jerseys..

  • Saw Collingwood and Essendon ones for about $60 at Rebel Sport the other week. $110 isn't good price.

    • online at least, the best price i can see is $79.99 for kids guernseys, $99.99 for adults, definitely no deal if you aren't fussed about wearing any guernsey and can get this price. But if you happen to be going and purchase one anyway, it's a free number with the purchase..

    • maybe they were last years jumper, not the newer version. Some people like to have the newest jumpers rather than last years (personally I am not phased as I still have my Hawks one from the late 90's)

      • maybe they were last years jumper, not the newer version.

possibly, but seeing as the major sponsor is still the same, the difference would be negligible…

      • They say 2015 in the listing… and Carlton's guernsey is definitely the new design!

  • +1

Doesn't Heat Pressed Number sound much fancier than the old Iron-On Number

    • That way, they can charge $20 instead of $5…
