  • Synapse :(

Not sure I would call this a "good deal for gamers". This keyboard offers nothing other than the gimmick of LEDs and macro keys that no one uses. Better off buying a much cheaper mechanical keyboard with switches of your choice, unless you're into overpriced 1337 gaming brands.

Also, Synapse is a pain in the ass.

I think a ducky shine would do the trick if one was looking for a new keyboard. Obviously buying a keyboard is like buying a watch - everyone has their own opinion. As for me I'm stuck with a 2010 black widow keyboard that so far is going strong (a little too strong imo hence i haven't been able to upgrade to a backlit keyboard).

  • Unless you're 15 or under, you will regret buying this pretty fast. Especially when you find out that these mechanical switches that razer use aren't that good.

  • If your absolutely set on having a keyboard from the 80's then I recommend a Deck Hassium Mechanical Keyboard from PLE Computers, currently on special for $169.00 $89.00 (47% Off). Or you could go for the Pro series (with back lighting) at $119, another lovely mechanical keyboard for those who still miss the pieces of archaic $#!^ from the 80's/90's.

Reminds me of a conversation I had with a mate from my era when he replaced his dying electronic with a mechanical.
    I asked "why?"
He said "Because the keys were too soft, I always miss-spelt words"
I said "But you still miss-spell, all the time"
He replied "But now I do it with style"
