I bought the AA and charger pack in the last deal and ill get buy the AA pack now :)

Is there any AAA and charger pack deals, I looked on the site but couldnt see one?

  • +4

Worth noting that the Eneloop quick charger is also selling for a good price $27.47

  • I need some eneloop AAA
Which pack is better quality? Sanyo chocolat or tropical?
DS website doesn't say manufacture country and in the past there was some debate about DS pictures showing 70% and description stating 65% ?
    Any clues appreciated…

    • If you're after Eneloop AAA then the choice is easy.

Chocolat and Tropical are only AA. Don't think anyone has gotten AA Japanese Eneloops from DS for a long time…apart from Pro.

      • Thx - tropical seems to be only AA - thought they had both

But Eneloop AAA chocolat here (same capacity as Sanyo but more recharge times?)

        http://search.dicksmith.com.au/search?p=R&srid=S10-AUSYDR01&…

        Difference
        4x Sanyo retains 70% = $9.80 - more expensive and 1800 recharges quoted
        8 x panasonic retains 65% = $14.98 (choc) - cheaper and 2100 recharges quoted

I am interested in quality difference if people have bought/tested them

        • Japan v China. I'll leave the rest up to you with one last hint… Google or 1 of the 100 previous Loop deals on here!

        • Learn something new every day…didn't know there were chocolate aaa.

  • +3

I bought the 8 pack tropical from last week's 'bargain' and the pack has made in China.

    65% on the pack.

    Test on my charger for the first 4x batteries shows 2x 2100, 1x 2000 and 1x 1980

Other 4 in capacity test now

  • The "Rouge" 8 AA packs are on sale for $20.70 and are available for click and collect at some stores. They are the older Sanyo, made in Japan ones. (I don't believe Panasonic make the "Rouge" or "Uomo" ones). It also seems some stores have the older 4 packs of AA and AAA available for click and collect. You will notice dick smith have both Panasonic and Sanyo AA and AAA packs listed at different prices and with different product codes.

  • If you're struggling to get the Jap loops from your local store, the Fujitsu is the same battery made in the same Jap factory!

Also, probably a bit late for this, but try a Masters price beat on the Jap loops!

  • After looking through this deal i found this and picked this one up

    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/batteries/eneloop-rechargeable-n…

Alittle confused on the whole Sanyo vs Panasonic ones. So these are Japanese batteries?

    Thanks

  • Yes those should be the Sanyo, made in Japan ones (1800 cycles and 70% capacity retention afte 5 years storage).

I actually went into my local store at Blacktown today and they had both the Sanyo and Panasonic 4 packs with different tickets and pricing for the two.

  • If you must have Made In Japan eneloops, these are, they drop down to 20$ for 8pack of AAs so not bad. I bought some last week in this sale, they arrived and are japanese ;)
