The deal posted on their Facebook page shows the price is $35, they had a link on the Facebook page showing 'More Info' which lead to this image.
I managed to get two of them for this price after having to talk to the store manager.

If your handy you could do it in an hour…
But it is illegal?
Wtfodeal, hope you have good insurance.
Suicide by illegal work!
So what is your point? It's a bargain for a non-DIY item. You want Masters to throw in the electrical contractor's bill as part of the deal? FFS.
Based on statistical evidence, not irrational fear, the most dangerous part of the job is the ladder, rather than forgetting to disconnect the power or any other electrical hazard.
Ladders should be restricted to licensed tradesmen. Or banned in favour of electric scissor lifts. Somebody think of the children!
@OzDJ_: my point is get a quote on how much to install it first as you might change your mind getting one after finding out how much an electrician is going to charge you for the installation.
Was there when I purchased the house
@eXtremist: are you replacing the globes or the whole thing? My understanding is you can DIY to replace the globes but need an electrician to replace the whole thing.
Only in Australia. Other countries must be smart enough to replace a light socket or switch etc but us…
If you are replacing an old existing unit you will find a gpo in the ceiling …just plug it in.If it is a new install then of course you will need a sparky 😉
@crohns:
For a fan, maybe, but not a 3-in-1.
If your handy you could do it in an hour…
If my handy?
Interesting - just saw an ad on Sky News advertising these for $35, so well done on getting them at $22!
Interesting Bunnings NZ sell these http://www.bunnings.co.nz/goldair-3-in-1-bathroom-heat-fan-l… but not our local ones. Anyway, you can see more specs at the Bunnings link
Price in the morning newspapers is advertised at $35
Can you please upload receipt?
I have never understood why you would install these. Surely with the fan sucking in air past the globes the heat is going mostly into the roof seems inefficient.
I have never understood why you would install these.
The lamps provide radiant heat infrared and visible. It warms you the way sunlight does even when the air is cold.
You should have paid more attention school science classes :)
I'm more concerned about how efficient and noisy the fan is. Is that small grill enough? i.e. are the large grilles on regular bathroom fans just for show? (like on cars)
Heat globes don't blow out hot air.
Hi All I can confirm they are $35 not $22 that link must have been posted by mistake as it is no longer active
You still have to honor it, there has not been an official apology issued.
Invitation to treat bro
Yeah, the full page advertisement in the Herald Sun today says $35
This is the correct image
Are the globes in these a standard size amongst these types of devices?
I can't even buy replacement globes for this cost!
Yes you can:
https://www.masters.com.au/product/900035798/philips-275w-ed…
Size is R125 (125mm reflector?)
I was about to post in agreement that the bulbs are worth $20 each, but though I should check first
Are there are any diff between the philips and Arlec globe in terms of heating as I need to replace mine.
Strange the model shown looks similar to this which is Elto brand
http://www.bunnings.co.nz/elto-heat-fan-2-light-white_p00171…
Whereas the goldair models look different and also come up as $35 on the website
That's bunnings NZ website
You really want to pop in the 375w globes. Most of these fittings are rated at 275 max, but I'm wondering why, is it heat dissipation or cable resistance etc.
Hi All,
I can confirm the price is definitely $35. The lower price was a mistake and removed as soon as we realised.
The picture still hasn't been removed from your website so the offer is still valid.
Get over it dude
They have to honour the price while it's live on there website…
Just got 2x for $22 each at Masters Braybrook :) just show them the link.
Wasn't so easy at Bayswater, WA.
The page is still there on the web server.

I see Masters have deleted comments/questions about the $22 price, instead of responding to them.
I think they deleted the whole post because it was a mistake to link to the $22 as $35 is the price.
I have one of these in my toilet. Works ok in a small area.
Cost 3 times more to install it?
