  • Handy Storage 4 Shelf Unit 50kg Per Shelf $13.98

Just be weary, these are flimsy and sharp. Wiggle side to side easily if you load them up too much. I also cut myself a few times last time i bought one.

    • For that price you wouldnt expect the best. did you get them for the same price?

      • I think i got it for $10 markdown price. But even then, i dont think they are worth it.

Maybe invest in better ones instead of wasting your moola

        • oh i wasnt even considering the $13 ones, just wanted to know if this was a normal-ish price. actually got my eye on the $34 ones, they look pretty good.

        • @Melbournebargain:
The $34 one looks the same as the one I got years ago (also from Bunnings). Very sturdy.

        • @nfr:

          agreed, it look well built

ahh the old cheese graters. That thing will cut your hand.

I've had good experience with them though. The trick is to build them upside down (hand tight). Straighten it, then tighten them with pliers and a screw driver.

Are these reduced? They look like their normal prices…

    • Only 60k per shelf, for $8 more you get 150kg per shelf on one in post :)

      • someone may be after a cheaper option, remember this is ozbargain lol

  • Yes normal price for 50kg shelves. I bought 4 of these last month. They are flimsy but I'll never have more than 50kgs on them. They currently hold 2 x 20litre drums of oil on each shelf. To make them solid, I just screwed two together. They come with extra bolts to do this. They do the job fine for me and I can recommend them :)

  • I swear those chairs used to be $5.

  • Great post! I have just moved to a new place and is in need of some shelves!
I need some shelves to pile up my boxes of winter/summer clothes… that $13 shelve look pretty neat for both the price and the weight it holds, I know its not the best, but it looks like it could do the job fine… :)

  • not as a comparison, just FYI - if you like Ikea stuff and nearby Ikea:

ikea $12.95, upto 25kg only though

but i like this sturdy one for $89.

    or smaller one for $59
