  • Probably best not to take this one under water. Better to have it working and not risk it getting water damaged (which is likely).

TITLE: Waterproof Digital Camera Dual Screen

    DESCRIPTION: It has Dual Screen

Why are you writing this stuff? It's not a Dual Screen, and the eBay listings don't say that either.

The camera box does state Dual Screen. If you look closely, you can see a screen beside the camera's lens. For Selfie, I suppose.

    • There's a round black sticker on the box that says "Dual screen" also.

  • Where does it say Dual Screen, & how does it help?

    • I will do a short review after receipt.

  • how's pics and camera quality? can't seems to find any review or photo sample.. thinking of buying this as cheap fun camera for water activities on upcoming holiday trip, many thx

  • It looks very similar to this one from ebay, but the one on ebay is 18 mp.

    • Yes, spot on, I was comparing it against the one you linked to also and $30-50 was my budget so I did get the one I posted due to budget constraints plus the option to return it in case I don't like it.

  • Once I will receive it will do a short review but I suspect it won't be half price forever… You can always get it and wait for my review, now and return it afterwards (my review will come March 31).

Remember I was tossing up between a 15 dollar 1.3 mega pixel toy camera vs this $49 waterproof 8 mega pixel camera which looks a little more rugged too so I figured out it's the better deal and will last longer. It is not clear if it runs on AA batteries which would be annoying (the toy camera did).

    • If you read the reviews (although not great) one person says she changed that batteries 3 time blah blah blah… so one would assume they are 2xAA.
Time fore people to use their eneloops!
It was $59 since December, and has been $49 for a week or so.

    • The use of AA batteries is convenient. No need to carry charger. Plus a built-in battery on these budget devices is likely to be of inferior quality and difficult to replace.

Let's hope that your daughter will be thrilled to receive it. Birthday party by the pool?
