Air NZ promos are fairly dodgy. Looking at BNE-AKL. Prices after promo are same as before the promo. They jacked up seat only price to $225 from $150 on the return and put out a 75 off code. Price for return seat only in April yesterday: $340. Today: $490 (highest I've seen). Adding baggage puts their cheapest fare to $542 before promo.
It's funny cause the price comparison sites show third-party agents selling it for the regular price of $340 return (seat only). China Airlines is still much cheaper ($320 return including 23kg baggage) as it has been all year.
