just got this in my inbox… seems legit.

The one I went to(Macquarie Centre) wasn't great the food is overpriced for mostly small servings. The cheese and broccoli soup was super salty.
Sure, I got the E-mail.
I got the email also.
Got emailed too. Booked for dinner at Marion store, casually mentioned the birthday thingy, and the girl on the other end of the line didn't seem to be aware….
Seems good !
Don't go to the one in Macquarie Centre (NSW) - went there once on a weekend and never again. Service was terrible and servings are small and overpriced.
Ummm I think you'll find that serving sizes are standardised because this is a franchise. But I agree with your comments, TGIF = never again at any location.
Went to the Macquarie one shortly after it opened and the service was a mess. Interesting to know that it still sucks.
Not sure what the big deal is about TGI Fridays. I left feeling meh.
I went to Macquarie TGI last year (first time) for a Christmas party, and while price of burgers were more expensive than say Grill'd, it was a fair size, and pretty damn tasty. Service was pretty good too, even though they were fairly busy.
Other people got steaks, ribs and things. Serve size was pretty good. We all left stuffed, but we had started with sample plate, and Southwest Potato Twister stack to share - a sort of nachos with thinly cut potato. I could go one of them right now!!
I think prices are standard across stores - well, they just have one Menu online: http://www.tgifridays.com.au/wp-content/themes/wps-theme/_/p…
Well I'm off to Mac centre for my half price dinner, will report back later ;)
still alive.. food was fine, portions way bigger than I had expected after reading some of the comments here.. staff were all super nice even though they were busy because of this deal.. did wait 20 minutes for entree and another 20 for mains but that's ok ..
things definitely seem to have changed for the better since all of you were last there
spent just under $100 so with discount $50 was a decent dinner for two ;)
we're both stuffed..
Didnt even know they were in Aus. Anyone been? Reckon its worth the trip (30mins drive + tolls)?
