    I would say no.

    Vodafone's 4G is excellent, but 3G / 3.5G is still very average.

      Is that just the speed of VF or also the usability of the phone (touch screen response legging etc) of a concern? This is a concern due to it being a fairly cheap phone. Thanks

    Sure can. Unlock codes can be found cheaply/easily on eBay - it's also called the Vodafone 785 and it is made by Alcatel.

      Vodafone let (or are legally required, or something) you unlock for free on their website.

        @salem: No. I bought this phone with this offer and attempted to unlock it and was quoted $75.
