Aqua Jam Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker $59 + P&H Was $149
I can't find much on them apart from one review saying they're pretty quiet which can be expected when they're IPX7. Probably a good idea to check them out in store.
Doubt you can get them demo'd in store, given how unknown this product is.
I am pretty sure the specs say 10 hours, because ive run mine for 10 hours and didnt die before then.
As for personal opinion, i dont see much wrong with it for this price point (i bought for around the same as well). I cant say it shakes the room, but its adequately loud, enough for me not to want to put it on max to avoid disturbing the neighbours.
IPX7 yes it is waterproof, but once water enters the cone/grille it will muffle the sound. So you will need to tip the water out and wipe off the grille. So its not quite something youd throw into the pool with you, but leaving it by the edge is perfectly fine.
I went in to check it out and there's none in stock in SA. Back to normal price now, what a shame.
@Zetsubou: I reckon there will be one more sale sometime soon, they seem to be clearing the stocks of a not-so-successful product. The last sale for these was less than a month ago.
