Always helpful to hear someone's opinion of a product!
I have one and it works quite fine on my Win 7 laptop, unfortunately my gaming rig is Win 8 and this headset isn't supported.
No Mac support either, which is a deal breaker for me… :(
No offence but what games do you play on Mac that you require a 7.1 surround sound?
It doesn't have to be 7.1, it just has to work with a Mac. From what I can tell, it doesn't. :)
@TailsK: Yeah :(. I think you have to install their program for megalodon to use the virtual 7.1.
@Letrico: I not too fussed about the 7.1. Does it work as stereo with a Mac?
Also, how do you get Pikachu onto a bus?
@TailsK: I think not. It connects by USB and not audio jack :(
Make the pikachu weak, then use a pokeball when his health is low, get on the bus.
@Letrico: No mate, you poke him on! =D
@TailsK: O.O POKE EM ONN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Letrico: ohohohoho
Virtual Surround sound no doubt only one speaker in each ear.
At the end of the day you only have 2 ears, there are some great binaural audio clips online that will give you an amazing 3D sound experience with even a set of ear buds.
Hence the cheap price. Full 7.1 speaker headsets are pricey.
I have this headset. I use it for BF4 and its great for hearing enemy footsteps and has great directional sound. Before using this headset i could not hear enemies coming at all. (onboard sound with mid range Sennheisers)
Great price too.
I'm not saying if this is a good deal or not. I just couldn't find myself recommending this particular product to anyone.
I owned the Razer Carcharias, which I believe is the same headphones but without the USB soundcard/controller.
The headset itself was quite unimpressive. It felt quite flimsy and didn't sound good at all (which I know is subjective).
