None left for click-n-collect anywhere in VIC. Curiously some stores show as 'in stock', but when you try and add it to cart, it says 'out of stock'… Anyone still having any luck with C&C in VIC?
Exactly what I experienced. I was in-store with 1 unit in my hand. Went online from one of their demo laptops…was showing 'in stock' for the same store but when I added to cart, it showed me "out of stock". May be the 'online' sales allocation was exhausted. Oh well will save $5 on something else.
Now to setup the chromecast!!

Keep getting out of stock even in stocked store.
Picked up one of these yesterday spent 3 hours trying to get it to work finally was able to watch some youtube videos even though the pc and android apps didnt work. I tried it again this morning now it can't be discovered on my network again from my experience this is a piece of crap.
Maybe your internet connection is not strong enough.
It's nothing to do with my internet connection and I have been through the settings in my router (tp link td-w8951nd). The router is in the passage so roughly 10 metres from the chromecast if that matters.

If you have walls in between like me is a problem, did you check the chromecast wifi signal? You should see it just in the screen saver screen.

ok bit of a development, after some more research I have it working I needed to change some more settings in the router after all. I have installed plex server on the laptop and the app on my phone and its quite awesome☺
Even those the store said in stock by the Add to Cart button disappeared.

I ordered Sunday evening, received order confirmation immediately and got mine today morning.
Last time I ordered an item "pick-up" over the Net from Harvey's it took about 7 days, they told me that payment had to be cleared and checks on my details had to be made before the Order would complete it's "processing" stage.
HN are probably the lowest on my list of retail outlets to spend money at, they're shocking. I still remember how they would advertise a massive sale of (e.g.) 20% off but up their prices by 22%, when reading the small print the sale would say "off ticketed price". Shameful they are, just shameful.

@superforever: That was with Paypal. In fact, after finding the deal by Earth on Buckscoop I've also ordered this Chromecast early on 28th and paid via Paypal. The money has left my account and payment shows as accepted on my side but I still have my order showing as "processing" (Monday 2nd @ 1525 local time). I had even called the local store to ensure they had ample stock.
That's some crap service, no wonder people don't use the "pickup" option unless there's a deal going. I guess that's why HN only has a 2 star rating with Ozbargain.
I have ordered a few times paid by paypal and pick up.
No problem here, one time they rang and pick up on the same day.

I think so, because last time when I ordered from another store, I found out the guy just went to check email for my online order. If nobody check it they won't know there was any online order.
